## Description

This heat powered stove fan moves warm air from a wood burning stove across the room so heat spreads more evenly and stays comfortable longer. It runs without batteries or power cords, so you get circulation that works whenever the stove is hot. The fan is simple to place on top of a stove or log burner and includes a magnetic thermometer for quick temperature checks. If you want a passive solution to reduce cold spots and make better use of a wood burner, this thermoelectric fan helps with that from the first burn.

## Key features

The fan uses a thermoelectric module to convert surface heat into motion, so no external electricity is needed. It starts quietly as the stove warms and increases airflow as temperature rises. A curved **aluminum blade** design pushes air more effectively across a room while remaining durable over repeated heating cycles. Included with the fan is a magnetic stove **thermometer** that attaches to the stove for easy reading. Expect low noise levels during operation, which helps preserve quiet evenings and restful sleep 🛋️.

## Tech specs

- Name: **JossaColar Wood Stove Fan**
- Size: 6.5 in x 7.7 in
- Operating range: 50 C to 350 C
- Noise level: under 25 dB
- Safety cutoff: lifts at surface temps above 350 C

## Benefits

Because it is heat powered, the fan requires no wiring and reduces reliance on room heaters, which can lower energy use according to typical usage. The unit is compact and unobtrusive, so it fits on a variety of stoves and log burners without crowding the top surface. Its **thermoelectric** operation ramps airflow naturally with stove temperature, delivering more warm air when it is needed most. The manufacturer offers a **2 year warranty** and a 30 day return window, which can reassure buyers about build quality.

## How to use it

Place the fan on a flat spot on top of the stove where it sits stable and can detect heat reliably. Allow the stove to reach warm operating temperature and monitor the included magnetic **thermometer** so you know when the fan will start moving air. For safety, check clearance from flue pipes and avoid placing objects that could block airflow. The device will lift its front edge automatically if surface temperature exceeds the safety threshold, protecting internal components. Quiet, maintenance free operation makes it a handy stove accessory for steady warmth throughout the room.
