## Description

## Key takeaways

At 48 x 30 inches, this Jolifield dog bed gives large dogs a broad rectangular place to rest. Its 3.5-inch egg-crate foam is designed for orthopedic support, while the soft striped-checkered fleece cover creates a cozy sleep surface. A waterproof TPU layer and nonskid bottom add practical details for everyday indoor use. The removable cover is machine washable, making routine cleanup simpler.

The foam’s egg-crate shape and the bed’s generous footprint set it apart from a basic flat crate mat: it combines a cushioned rest surface with features intended for comfortable lounging. Use it in a bedroom, living room, crate, or kennel to give your dog a defined spot to settle. The gray finish also fits easily into a range of home spaces.

Customer feedback often highlights the soft feel, comfort, and ease of washing. Opinions on size and durability are mixed, so consider the listed dimensions and your dog’s preferred sleeping position when choosing a bed.

## Quick sizing guide

This 48 x 30-inch version is listed as an extra-large size. Compare those dimensions with the space where you plan to place it, whether that is a crate, kennel, or open area at home. For a dog that likes to stretch out, check that the available floor space accommodates the full rectangular bed, dogs that curl up may use the surface differently.

The listed range also includes 30 x 20 inches for small dogs, 36 x 24 inches for medium dogs, 42 x 28 inches for large dogs, and 56 x 40 inches as a larger option. Choosing by the bed’s footprint helps you match the sleeping area to both your dog and its intended location.

## Usage tips

Place the bed on a clean, flat indoor surface, or use it in a crate or kennel with enough room for its 48 x 30-inch footprint. The nonskid bottom is designed to help keep the bed in place during everyday use. Its waterproof layer and removable cover are useful details for pet spaces that need regular cleaning.

For care, remove the cover and machine wash it, the care instructions also allow tumble drying. The egg-crate foam itself is not washable, so keep cleaning focused on the cover. When setting up the bed after unpacking, allow about 72 hours for the compressed foam to expand.

## Questions before you buy

**What are the bed’s dimensions?** It measures 48 inches long by 30 inches wide, with a thickness of 3.5 inches. Use these measurements to check the fit in your crate, kennel, or chosen room.

**Can the bed be machine washed?** The removable cover is machine washable and can be tumble dried. The egg-crate foam is not washable, so remove the cover before laundering.

## Buying verdict

Choose this Jolifield bed when you want a roomy indoor resting spot with orthopedic egg-crate foam, a soft fleece cover, and a removable, washable design.
