## Description

The 50mm neodymium drivers and 7.1 surround sound are designed to bring game audio details and positional cues into clearer focus, helping you stay tuned in during play.

A flexible, adjustable microphone with noise-canceling technology supports team communication by helping reduce background sounds such as keyboard clicks. The microphone can be positioned to suit your setup.

This red, wired over-ear headset connects through a 3.5mm jack and works with a range of gaming systems and computers. RGB lighting adds a colorful accent to your gaming space.

## What matters most

The A82 combines 50mm drivers, a large PET diaphragm, and 7.1 surround sound for gaming, movies, and other audio. Its sound profile is described as delivering clear stereo sound, deep bass, and positional audio, making it suited to games where footsteps and other in-game cues matter. The wired connection keeps setup straightforward on devices with a 3.5mm jack.

Compatibility includes PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, laptops, Macs, and mobile phones with a 3.5mm jack. Older Xbox One controllers require a separate Microsoft adapter. Buyers often praise the sound and RGB lighting, feedback on microphone operation and durability is mixed, so fit and setup are useful considerations when choosing a headset. Compared with a wireless model, the A82 takes a cable-based approach for devices with an audio jack.

## Practical tips

For PC use, connect the 3.5mm splitter cable and plug the microphone connector into the pink microphone jack. The headset’s inline control includes a microphone mute button, so check its position if your voice is not being picked up. The 3.5mm plug handles audio, while the USB connector powers the RGB lighting, a USB port on a computer or another USB power source can be used for the lights.

## Usage tips

The soft imitation-protein earmuffs are designed to sit over the ears, and their 30-degree adjustment helps them follow the shape of your ears. The adjustable headband lets you set the fit for your head, while the microphone’s 120-degree flexible adjustment makes it easier to position for voice chat. Connect the 3.5mm plug to a console controller or another compatible device, then select the headset as the audio output in the device settings where needed. For PS4 and PS5, the provided setup guidance directs users to choose “Output to Headphones” and “All Audio.”

## Is it worth it?

The Jimonyer A82 brings several practical gaming features together in one wired headset: 7.1 surround sound, 50mm drivers, a positionable noise-canceling microphone, and red RGB lighting. It’s a great fit if you want an over-ear headset for gaming across compatible consoles and computers, with a 3.5mm connection and cushioning designed for extended sessions. The combination of broad device support and adjustable fit makes it a useful choice for a gaming setup that also serves movies and everyday listening.
