## Description

A wide-mouth, food-grade silicone design makes the Jelly Ruru JR01 pouches easier to fill with homemade purees, yogurt, applesauce, and similar snacks. The four-pack includes a detachable straw and side handles, giving little ones options for holding and feeding themselves.

Each pouch holds 5 fluid ounces and can go in the freezer, dishwasher, and microwave, according to the product details.

## Fit and sizing

These are one-size pouches with a 5-fluid-ounce capacity, suited to a snack-sized portion rather than storing a larger batch in one container. The set includes four pouches in yellow, green, purple, and blue. For a day out, you could fill one with applesauce or a smoothie and keep the others ready for different snacks, the leakproof design is intended to help contain food in a bag.

The side handles are designed for small hands, while the detachable straw and cross-cut valve offer another way to feed from the pouch. Since the straw and valve are part of the feeding setup, they may be useful for children who prefer sipping, while a spoon-fed puree routine may not need those features.

## Strengths

The wide opening is practical for filling and cleaning, and the pouches can be washed by hand, with a brush, or in the dishwasher. Their reusable silicone construction offers an alternative to single-use pouches for families who regularly pack purees or yogurt. The attached spout lid also means there is no separate cap to keep track of. The manufacturer describes the material as BPA-free and free of PVC, lead, and phthalates.

Buyer feedback is positive about filling and cleaning, and some appreciate the pouches for babies and toddlers. Feedback is less consistent on the straw and closure: some find them effective, while others report difficulty inserting the straw or getting food to flow. Opinions on durability are also mixed, so the listed reusable design should not be taken as a guarantee of long-term wear.

## Is it worth it?

Worth considering if you often pack homemade baby food and want a washable pouch set with handles and a straw option. Compared with disposable squeeze pouches, these are designed for repeated use and can be cleaned between servings, their wider opening also gives you access for filling and washing. It may not suit you if dependable straw flow or consistent long-term durability is essential, given the mixed buyer feedback on those points. If you mainly serve food by spoon, a simpler reusable container without feeding accessories may be a better match.
