## Description

After washing dishes in a compact kitchen, use the JASIWAY 701G to let them drain over the sink instead of taking up extra counter space. Its expandable stainless steel frame can be positioned over or in the sink. Need a practical place for plates, bowls, cups, and silverware while they dry? The open grid lets water drip into the basin, keeping the drying area connected to the sink.

## Worth noting

The rack has adjustable supporting bars for adapting its position to different sink setups. Its stainless steel construction has a gold coating and is designed to resist rust and scratches. Silicone sleeves on the handles help protect sink surfaces and keep the rack in position. The open layout also allows air to circulate around dishes as water drains directly into the basin.

Dedicated plate slots help keep dishes upright rather than stacked together, while the utensil holder provides a separate place for silverware. The listed layout can accommodate 12 dishes, 10 bowls, 4 cups, and silverware at the same time. Its stated maximum weight capacity is 70 pounds. The listed dimensions are 15.5"D x 11"W x 4.8"H, and the adjustable frame gives you flexibility when positioning it for use over or inside the sink.

Buyers often highlight the space-saving design and how the rack fits their sinks. Feedback on size is mixed: some find it suited to their kitchen, while others would prefer a larger rack. Opinions on sturdiness also vary. These perspectives make sink placement and the amount of dishware you typically dry useful factors to consider when choosing a rack.

## Cleaning & care

The rack arrives ready to use and requires no assembly. For routine care, wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it afterward. Its open grid is designed to let water drain into the sink, so it works naturally as part of a dishwashing area rather than as a tray that holds runoff on the counter. When setting it up, position the supports securely and make sure the rack is a suitable fit for your sink.

## Who it’s for

This design suits people who want to keep a clear section of countertop available while dishes dry. It is especially relevant for small kitchens, apartments, and RVs, where a dedicated countertop dish drainer can occupy useful prep space. The gold finish adds a defined color accent, while the separate plate slots and utensil holder help organize everyday dishware in one place.

## When it makes sense

Choose an over-the-sink drying setup when you want dishes to drain directly into the basin and prefer to reserve the counter for food preparation or other kitchen tasks. Compared with a countertop rack, this approach uses the sink area as the drying location, the expandable supports offer flexibility for positioning the rack over or within the sink. For a typical wash-up, plates can stand in their slots, with bowls, cups, and silverware arranged alongside them. The JASIWAY 701G brings those practical features together in a compact, ready-to-use rack for kitchens where making better use of sink and counter space matters.
