## Description

A trash can that takes up too much floor space or needs a hand on the lid can make everyday cleanup feel more awkward than it should. The iTouchless Prime uses a hand-motion sensor to open without touching the lid, while its slim rectangular shape is designed to sit close to a wall or fit into a tighter spot. Its 50 L capacity gives busy kitchens or shared work areas room for routine waste without a bulky footprint.

The gray plastic body is dent-proof and can be rinsed clean with a hose. It fits common 13-gallon trash bags, so you don’t have to shop for custom liners.

## Getting the most from it

Place the can where the lid has room to open and where the sensor can be reached naturally during cleanup. For example, while clearing plates after dinner, a hand motion can open the lid so you can drop scraps in without setting anything down or touching the bin. The wide opening is also intended to make bulky items easier to toss.

Its rectangular profile is useful when you want a bin along a kitchen wall, in an office, or in another space where floor area matters. The same design can suit a garage, dorm, or business setting, though the product details don’t specify a particular setup for those locations. When it needs cleaning, the plastic body can be washed with a water hose.

## Why it’s worth it

The main appeal is the combination of hands-free access and everyday bag convenience. A sensor-operated lid reduces direct contact during disposal, while the capacity is listed as 50 L / 13.2 gallons. The description also says the can fits common 13-gallon bags, making it easier to use standard liners rather than buying a custom size.

There’s no inner bucket, which the product description says leaves 25% more capacity than similar cans. That may be useful if you want more room within a slim exterior. You’ll appreciate it if you want a touch-free bin that can sit flush against a wall, if you prioritize a simple open-top can with fewer moving parts, a basic manual bin may be a better fit. The listing also mentions dedicated U.S.-based customer support, with contact details in the manual.

## Worth noting

The no-inner-bucket design is also a tradeoff: anyone who prefers lifting out a separate pail to empty or clean it may want a model that includes one. The description says the plastic is dent-proof and easy to clean, but doesn’t provide dimensions, sensor settings, or details about its power source, so those specifics aren’t possible to assess on the spec sheet. Its slim shape helps with placement, but it doesn’t establish how much space the lid needs above or around the can.

It May not suit you if you need a removable inner container or want detailed measurements before choosing a spot. If you’re deciding between this and a more basic bin, the practical difference is less about capacity alone and more about whether touch-free opening is worth the added sensor mechanism for your routine.

## Buying verdict

This iTouchless can makes sense for a kitchen or shared space where hands-free access, a wall-friendly shape, and standard 13-gallon bags are priorities. The capacity and wide opening are useful for regular household waste, and the washable plastic body is straightforward to maintain. Choose another style if a removable inner bucket is important to you, or if you need confirmed dimensions and operating details before buying.
