## Description

## Technical overview
For a quick rice bowl at lunch or a simple side with dinner, IRIS Instant White Rice gives you Japanese short-grain rice in individual microwave-ready trays. Each serving is ready in 80 seconds in a 1,000–1,200 W microwave, so you can prepare a portion when you need it without starting with uncooked rice. Serve it in the tray or move it to a bowl, then pair it with toppings, vegetables, soup, or a main dish.

The rice is 100% short-grain, produced in Japan, and described as non-GMO, gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan. Its short-grain format also works for rice bowls, sushi, fried rice, and bibimbap. Buyers often highlight the convenient portions, quick preparation, and sticky texture for dishes such as sushi and poke bowls, opinions on overall value vary.

## Practical tips
For microwave preparation, peel the film back to the dotted line and heat the tray for 80 seconds at 1,000–1,200 W. The rice can be eaten directly from its tray or served in your favorite bowl. For the boiling-water method, place the unopened pack in boiling water for 18 minutes, then remove the package before serving.

The individual portions are useful when you need rice for one meal, such as a desk lunch, a dorm-room dinner, or a picnic or camping meal. Add sushi or poke toppings for a rice bowl, serve it alongside soup, or use it as the rice base for bibimbap. If you’re choosing between cooking dry rice for a larger meal and keeping ready-to-heat portions on hand, this format is geared toward a quick serving with minimal preparation, dry rice gives you a more flexible starting point for cooking a batch.

## In the box
The set contains 24 individually packed trays, with 6.3 oz (180 g) of rice in each. Keeping the portions separate makes it easy to prepare one tray at a time, whether you’re adding a side to dinner or setting aside rice for a later meal.

## Buying verdict
Choose IRIS Instant White Rice when Japanese short-grain rice and a quick, individual serving are the priorities. The sealed single-serving trays offer two preparation methods and suit everyday meals, work or school lunches, and trips where a convenient rice portion is useful. Its versatility across rice bowls, sushi, fried rice, and soup pairings makes the 24-tray set a practical fit for keeping several meals’ worth of rice ready to prepare.
