Inwaysin 5-Gallon Trash Bags

For a small bathroom can, bedroom wastebasket, or office bin, these Inwaysin 5-gallon trash bags are designed for routine household cleanup in a compact format. The listing describes them as unscented and compostable, with cornstarch-based plant extracts.

The package includes five rolls and 200 bags. That makes this format useful when you want liners on hand in several rooms, rather than a large, bulky box.

Technical details

Each liner is sized for a 5-gallon trash can, and the bags come unscented. The product description calls them thickened and strong, but it does not give a thickness measurement or a tested load limit, so those claims do not establish how they will handle heavy or sharp waste. The listed pack contains five rolls and 200 bags, individual bag dimensions are not provided.

The material is described as compostable and as containing plant extracts, including cornstarch. The listing says the bags break down into water and carbon dioxide, but it does not explain which disposal conditions or composting facilities are required. If you need a liner for a specific composting program, that missing detail matters.

Everyday compatibility

These small liners are intended for bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, laundry-room, and office wastebaskets, with other settings such as dorm rooms and schools also mentioned. Picture replacing a bathroom-can liner after tossing tissues and everyday packaging: the compact roll is meant to make it easy to keep a spare nearby and pull out the next bag when needed.

Compared with ordinary plastic liners, the main distinction here is the compostable positioning and unscented format, not a stated difference in fit or capacity. A solid pick if your priority is a small, scent-free liner for everyday, light household waste. For mixed use across rooms, check that your bins are actually sized for 5-gallon bags, the listing gives no bag measurements to confirm the fit on unusually shaped cans.

Usage tips

The bags are connected by tear lines, so separate one at a time and keep the rolls where you change liners most often. For a kitchen wastebasket, that could mean storing a roll near the bin, for an office, keeping one in a drawer makes a quick liner change straightforward. Use them for routine waste rather than assuming the “strong” description means they are suited to heavy, wet, or sharp loads—the product details provide no specific limits.

The listing does not identify composting certifications or give disposal instructions. Follow the requirements of your local composting service instead of assuming every facility accepts these bags. It might not be a great match if you need documented composting standards, exact dimensions, or a clearly stated capacity for heavier waste.

Questions before you buy

Are the bags scented? No. The product is described as unscented, which may suit rooms where you would rather not add a fragrance.

What size trash can are they intended for? They are listed for 5-gallon cans. No width or length measurements are provided, so check your bin’s shape as well as its capacity.

How many bags are included? The package is listed as five rolls with 200 bags total. The description says the bags separate along tear lines.

Is it worth it?

These liners make the most sense if you need multiple small-can bags for everyday household or office cleanup and want an unscented option marketed as compostable. The 200-count, five-roll pack is also practical for keeping liners in more than one room. The trade-off is limited detail: there are no dimensions, strength figures, or composting instructions. Choose them for routine small-bin use if that information is not essential, look for a product with explicit fit and disposal specifications when those are deciding factors.
