## Description

## What you’ll notice day to day

For an indoor cat settling into a chilly corner, this heated donut bed combines a soft Sherpa cover with adjustable warmth and a raised rim. The 24-by-24-inch bed has a 6-inch rim for a tucked-in resting spot, while the timer lets you set an automatic shutoff rather than leaving the heat running indefinitely.

It’s a different approach from a basic unheated cushion: this bed adds temperature and timer controls for pets that seek a warmer place to rest.

## Key points

The controller offers 11 temperature settings from 80°F to 130°F, plus a timer that can be set from 1 to 24 hours. A built-in temperature sensor is described as helping prevent overheating, and the listing also describes a seven-layer protective structure around the heating wire. These are design features, not a substitute for following the product’s instructions or supervising a pet that chews cords.

The donut shape has cotton filling and a non-skid bottom. The heating element can be removed, so the bed can also be used without heat in warmer months. Buyers commonly describe the bed as soft and warm, and some appreciate being able to adjust both temperature and duration. Size feedback is mixed: some find it a good fit, while others say it works best for smaller cats. Consider your pet’s sleeping position and available space before choosing it.

## Care & maintenance

The cover is described as machine washable, but remove the heater before washing. That removable component is useful when the bed needs cleaning or when you want to use it as a regular cushion. The listing also describes a waterproof PVC envelope around the heating element, it does not provide washing instructions for the heater itself, so keep that distinction in mind.

A practical setup is to place the bed in an indoor resting area, set a temperature and timer, and remove the heating element before laundering the bed. The cord has a spiral protective cover, but pets that chew cords still call for attention to placement and use.

## Before you decide

**Can the bed be used without heat?** Yes. The heating element is removable, allowing the bed to serve as an unheated cushion in warmer months.

**Can the whole bed go in the washing machine?** The bed is described as machine washable after the heater is removed. The supplied details don’t specify a separate cleaning method for the heating element.

**Is the size right for every cat or small dog?** The bed measures 24 by 24 by 8 inches, and buyer feedback on fit is mixed. Check those dimensions against your pet’s usual sleeping space rather than relying on the broad pet-type description alone.

## When it makes sense

It makes sense if your indoor pet tends to curl up and you want a Sherpa-lined bed with adjustable heat, a raised rim, and a timed shutoff. It may not suit you if you need a larger sleeping surface or simply want a basic cushion without electrical heating. The main buying decision is whether the stated dimensions fit your pet and whether you’ll use the temperature and timer controls, if those features are unnecessary, a standard unheated bed is the simpler choice.
