E-Z Ink TN229XL Toner Cartridge 4-Pack with Chip, Black and Color
Product description
Refined toner powder supports clear text and images, giving everyday documents and color pages a complete toner set for compatible Brother laser printers.
The E-Z Ink TN229XL replacement pack includes black, cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges, each with a chip. Having all four colors together makes it practical to replace the toner set as printing needs arise.
It works with a range of Brother printers, including the MFC-L3780CDW, MFC-L3720CDW, HL-L3280CDW, and HL-L3220CDW. Check the compatibility list below to match the cartridge to your printer.
Everyday use
Use this compatible four-pack for routine printing on plain paper, from black-and-white text to color documents and images. The black cartridge is rated for 3,000 pages, while each color cartridge is rated for 2,300 pages, based on 5% coverage of A4 paper. These figures offer a useful planning reference for choosing replacement toner, actual yield varies with printed content and coverage.
For installation, remove the existing toner cartridge from the printer’s drum unit, then place the new cartridge into that drum unit. The drum unit is a separate printer component and is not included. A user guide is included to support the replacement process.

Where it shines
This set suits home offices and workspaces that print both text-heavy documents and color materials. Replacing black and the three color cartridges from one pack keeps the essential toner colors together, while the listed yields help estimate how the cartridges may fit a typical printing routine. Compared with buying manufacturer-branded toner, this is a compatible-cartridge option for users whose priority is a four-color replacement set for one of the supported printer models.
Customer feedback highlights crisp black text, clear color output, and straightforward installation. Some buyers also appreciate the fit in their compatible printers. These are individual customer impressions, while printer compatibility should be matched to the model list above.
