## Description

## Technical details

The reinforced metal ring is the standout feature: this right-spin defense top is designed to keep spinning when it takes a hit, giving it a different focus from a top built around quick attacks.

The set includes one Golden Inferon Shield metal top, one rack launcher, and one assembly tool. The top has a DIY five-layer structure, so kids can change its configuration rather than stick with a single setup.

It’s intended for ages 5–12 and offers a straightforward entry point into face-to-face battle play. The defense design may appeal to beginners who want to try changing a top’s build as well as launching it.

## Compatibility

The rack launcher works with S7 standard gun, bow, and sword launchers. It is not compatible with S6 launchers, so that distinction matters if you already have gear from an earlier series. The set itself comes with a rack launcher, meaning a compatible launcher is included for getting started.

This is a focused starter set, not a collection of multiple tops or launchers. If the goal is to expand an existing S7 setup, the included top and launcher add one defense-oriented configuration, a buyer looking for several battle tops in one box will need to look for a different bundle.

## Usage tips

Launching takes four basic steps: open the launcher, insert the rack, attach the top, and pull the rack. For a first round, an adult can walk a younger child through attaching each part, then let them handle the pull and watch how the top behaves in the arena.

The five-layer build gives kids something to try between rounds: swap the S7 structure, launch again, and see which configuration they prefer. The product details don’t specify which layer combinations work best, so treat customization as experimentation rather than a guaranteed performance upgrade. From the way it is set up, the fun is partly in tuning the top and partly in the friendly competition itself.

## Questions before you buy

**What comes in the box?** One rack launcher, one Golden Inferon Shield metal top, and one assembly tool. No additional tops are listed.

**Which way does the top spin?** It is a right-spin top with a reinforced metal ring, described as a defense type.

**Can kids change how it’s built?** Yes. The top has a five-layer S7 structure that can be swapped to try different configurations and strategies.

## When it makes sense

It makes sense if you’re shopping for one ready-to-launch S7 defense top and want a hands-on activity that can continue after the first battle through layer changes. The included launcher also makes it more complete than buying a top alone, while the face-to-face format gives kids a simple way to play with friends and practice handling wins and losses.

Not the best choice if your current launcher is S6, or if you want a set with several tops for head-to-head play straight out of the box. The stated age range is 5–12, so it may also be a poor fit for children outside that range.
