Indoi YX-050 Wall Sconces, Matte Black Metal and Clear Glass, Set of 2
Product description
Clear glass shades let the bulbs remain visible while the matte black metal gives these Indoi YX-050 wall sconces a defined, modern look. Sold as a pair, they can add matching light beside a bathroom mirror or create a consistent look along a hallway.
They are hardwired fixtures, not plug-in lights, and bulbs are not included. That makes the set a better fit for a planned wall-light installation than for someone looking for a lamp that can be moved between outlets.

The clear shades and open design keep the bulb part of the fixture’s appearance, so the bulb choice will affect the finished look. The product is listed for indoor use, with bathrooms, hallways, entryways, bedrooms, closets, living rooms, and dressing areas among the suggested locations. Its not-water-resistant rating is an important distinction: a bathroom location may suit the intended style, but the fixture is not specified for areas exposed to water.
Compatibility & requirements
These sconces connect to household AC wiring and use E26-base bulbs. Because the bulbs are not included, they need to be selected separately, check that the bulb base matches and that its wattage is appropriate for the fixture’s 60-watt listing. The stated voltage is 120 volts, and operation is described with a wall switch. This is a surface-mounted, hardwired setup, so it suits a renovation or replacement project where wiring is available, rather than a quick installation that only requires a nearby outlet. How much light the pair provides in a particular room will also depend on the bulbs chosen and the placement.
Best use cases
The matching pair is suited to framing a mirror, adding coordinated lighting to an entryway, or bringing the same finish to two points along a corridor. Clear glass leaves the bulb visible, while the black metal and rectangular shape create a more defined look than a simple, understated shade. That can help when the fixture is meant to contribute to the room’s decor as well as provide light.
Buyers’ comments commonly praise the appearance and describe the sconces as easy to install, some also say the lighting works well in different rooms. Those impressions may help set expectations, but they do not replace checking the wiring, bulb choice, or placement for your own space. Worth considering if you want a coordinated pair of hardwired fixtures with clear glass. It’s not for you if you need plug-in lighting or a fixture rated as water resistant.
Final verdict
The Indoi YX-050 makes sense for an indoor update where a two-fixture set, matte black finish, and visible clear shades fit the plan. It offers a straightforward alternative to buying mismatched individual sconces, especially for mirror or hallway placement. The main decision points are practical: account for the hardwired installation, supply compatible E26 bulbs separately, and avoid locations where water resistance is required.
