## Description

## Technical details

When an ID or a set of keys keeps getting buried in a bag, a plain clip can be more hassle than help. This Immaturus cat badge holder combines a vertical card sleeve, a retractable reel, and a detachable lanyard, so an ID can stay accessible while keys have a place to attach. The design adds a colorful cat graphic with the phrase “It’s fine, I’m fine, everything is fine,” giving a workday accessory a more playful look than a basic badge clip. The reel extends up to 24 inches, though the card holder’s dimensions are not listed, so you can’t assess card fit without that measurement.

The holder is described as lightweight plastic and waterproof, with a sturdy buckle and a 360-degree rotating carabiner clip. Its card slot opens by pressing the back and pushing the card upward. The listing doesn’t specify how many cards fit, so it’s best to think of this as an ID holder rather than assume it can carry a stack of cards.

## What it works with

The holder is intended for work IDs, student IDs, and credit cards, and the reel can also attach to keys. That makes it useful for routine access at a school, office, or other workplace where you regularly scan a badge or open a door. The vertical format is worth noting if you prefer a horizontal display, the listing only describes a vertical name-tag holder.

Compared with a simple lanyard, the retractable reel lets you bring a badge toward a scanner without unclipping it. Compared with a standalone clip, the included detachable lanyard offers another way to carry it. You can remove the lanyard and clip the holder to a belt, shirt, pants, or backpack, depending on how you want to keep it within reach.

## Usage tips

Attach keys to the reel if you want them grouped with your badge, or use the detachable lanyard when wearing the holder around your neck is more convenient. For example, at a school entrance, you can pull the ID toward a scanner and let the reel retract afterward rather than taking the badge off each time. The listed reach is up to 24 inches, if your access point is farther away, you’ll need to move closer or unclip the holder. Press the back to insert or remove a card, and avoid assuming the sleeve will fit a particular card until you know its dimensions.

## Before you decide

**Can the lanyard be removed?** Yes. The listing says it detaches, and the holder can then be clipped to clothing or a backpack.

**Does the reel rotate?** Yes. It has a 360-degree rotating carabiner clip.

**Is it intended as a gift?** The listing presents it as a gift for occasions such as birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, and Teachers’ Day.

## When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want a single, playful accessory for carrying an ID and optionally attaching keys, with both a retractable reel and a removable lanyard. The cat artwork also suits someone who would rather personalize a daily badge than use a plain clip. You may want to skip it if you need confirmed card dimensions, a horizontal holder, or a reel reach beyond the listed 24 inches, those details aren’t supported by the product information.
