## Description

A basic hood may cover everyday cooking, while a more adjustable setup can help when smoke and cooking odors vary from one meal to the next. The IKTCH IKP03-36 is a 36-inch, wall-mounted ducted hood with four airflow settings and gesture, touch, and remote controls.

It combines stainless steel with tempered glass and includes dishwasher-safe baffle filters. The main planning constraint is its ducted installation: it vents outdoors and is specified for a maximum ceiling height of 8.8 feet.

## Why it makes sense

With airflow settings of 300, 420, 550, and 900 CFM, this hood offers more than a single fixed extraction level. A lower setting may suit routine cooking, while the top setting gives you another option for heavier smoke or stronger odors. The ducted design sends air outside rather than recirculating it, so the kitchen needs a suitable exhaust route.

Gesture control is useful when your hands are occupied, and the touch panel and included remote offer other ways to operate it. Buyers often praise its appearance and suction, but feedback on controls and responsiveness is mixed. Some describe the controls as convenient, others report sensitivity or button issues. There are also reports of units stopping after a year, so buyer comments do not point to uniformly positive long-term experiences.

## The essentials

This wall-mounted canopy measures 19.3 inches deep, 35.4 inches wide, and 39.4 inches high, and weighs 49 pounds. Its glass-and-stainless finish gives it a more visible design presence than a purely utilitarian hood, so it may suit a kitchen where the range area is part of the room’s look. The listing specifies brushed finish, stainless steel, and tempered glass.

Two dimmable 3W LEDs, listed at 4000K, illuminate the cooking surface. The hood has four speeds and a stated airflow range of 300 to 900 CFM. Manufacturer information lists a noise range of 40–65 dB, customer feedback on noise varies, so the listed range is useful context rather than a promise of a particular sound level in every installation.

The package includes a duct connector, expandable pipe, installation kit, instruction manual, and remote. It is a ducted model, not a recirculating alternative, and the stated maximum ceiling height is 8.8 feet. Those details make duct routing and kitchen layout important parts of deciding whether it suits your space.

## Maintenance

The stainless steel baffle filters are described as dishwasher-safe, which gives you a straightforward cleaning option for grease buildup. The tempered-glass surface can be wiped with a cloth. The listing also specifies a built-in oil collector and delay shut-off timer, the timer can keep the hood running after cooking so remaining fumes and odors can continue to be vented.

## Is it worth it?

It makes sense if you want a wall-mounted ducted hood with adjustable airflow and multiple control methods, and your kitchen can accommodate its exhaust route and listed ceiling-height limit. You may want to skip it if you need a recirculating hood or prefer a simpler control setup. Compared with a basic fixed-speed approach, its four settings and three control options add flexibility, buyers’ mixed reports about operation and durability are worth weighing alongside those features.
