This four-pack uses coconut shell activated carbon in a three-layer design. A pre-filter layer captures larger airborne particles such as dust and debris. The carbon sponge layer adsorbs unpleasant odors and smoke, while a post-filter layer supports the filter’s overall filtration process. Designed for selected LG and Kenmore refrigerators, the AF004 offers a straightforward way to replace a compatible refrigerator air filter and help keep the interior air fresh. ## Technical details - Product: Refrigerator air filter replacement - Pack size: 4 filters - Dimensions: 3.22" D x 3.22" W x 3" H - Material: Coconut shell activated carbon - Filtration: Three layers for larger airborne particles, odors, and smoke - Replacement interval: Every six months The coconut shell activated carbon is the central adsorption material, paired with pre- and post-processing layers. Together, these layers address different types of airborne contaminants inside the refrigerator. For households replacing filters on a regular schedule, the four-pack provides multiple replacement units in one purchase. The stated six-month replacement interval is a practical reference for planning routine filter changes. ## Compatibility & requirements This filter is designed as a replacement for LG LT120F and is listed for use with LG ADQ73214402, ADQ73214403, ADQ73214404, and ADQ73334008 filters. It is also compatible with Kenmore Elite 469918, 9918, and 46-9918 references. Listed compatible refrigerator models include LG LFX25991ST, LFX29927ST, LFX29927SW, LFX29927SB, LFX29945ST, LFX31925ST, LFX31945ST, LFX31925SB, LFX31935ST, LFX31925SW, LFX329345ST, LFX33975ST, LFX31995ST, LMX31985ST, LMX30995ST, and LSC22991ST. Match your current filter number or refrigerator model to these references before choosing a replacement. Installation is described as tool-free, making a routine filter change simple to carry out. ## Everyday use A refrigerator filter helps manage odors and airborne particles in the food-storage space. The carbon layer targets unpleasant smells and smoke, while the other layers handle larger particles and support the filtration process. This makes the AF004 relevant for everyday kitchen use, particularly when replacing an existing compatible air filter as part of regular refrigerator upkeep. Compared with buying replacement filters one at a time, this four-pack keeps additional filters available for later changes. Follow the stated six-month replacement schedule to plan when to install the next one. The product is intended for refrigerators that use the listed LT120F-compatible filter references, rather than as a general-purpose air filter for rooms or other appliances. ## What to clarify **Which filter does the AF004 replace?** It is listed as a replacement for the LG LT120F and compatible with the specified LG and Kenmore filter references. **What does the three-layer design address?** The pre-filter layer is intended for larger airborne particles such as dust and debris, the activated carbon sponge adsorbs odors and smoke, and the post-filter layer supports overall filtration. **How often should the filter be changed?** The product information recommends replacement every six months.
