## Description

The fitted lids help shield ice from freezer odors, while the included bin gives you a place to keep extra cubes ready. That combination is useful when you want ice on hand without leaving an open tray exposed.

The set includes four trays, with 12 cubes per tray and 48 cubes total. The trays stack with their lids on, making use of vertical freezer space.

Each cube measures 1.7 x 1.1 x 0.8 inches. That smaller format is intended to chill drinks without watering them down as quickly as larger ice might.

## Technical details

The trays combine plastic and silicone and are described as BPA-free. Each one makes 12 cubes, together, the four trays make 48. The listed cube dimensions are 1.7 x 1.1 x 0.8 inches. A storage bin is included for holding extra cubes, and the lidded trays are designed to stack in the freezer.

The silicone bottoms offer two ways to release ice: press the bottom to pop cubes out or twist the tray. Side notches are intended to make the lids easier to open. The trays can be rinsed, wiped clean, or put in the dishwasher, according to the product details.

## Getting the most from it

This is a practical setup for keeping a reserve of ice for whiskey, cocktails, soda, juice, or coffee. For example, you can fill one tray before a get-together, stack it in the freezer, then transfer cubes to the bin so another tray is ready to freeze. The small cubes can also be made with fruit or other add-ins for flavored drinks.

It suits you if you want several batches of modest-size cubes and prefer covered, stackable trays over a single open mold. Not the best choice if you need large cubes or want the tray’s overall footprint before buying. The listing gives cube dimensions but not the dimensions of the trays or bin, so a tight freezer fit is harder to judge without that measurement.

## Usage tips

Use the side notches to lift the lid, then press the silicone bottom or gently twist the tray to release cubes. If a cube sticks, try the other release method rather than forcing it. Keep the lids on while freezing and stacking to help limit exposure to freezer odors. For custom cubes, add fruit, chocolate, or another ingredient before filling the mold, the description does not specify which add-ins or liquids work best, so leave room for your own preference.

Compared with a basic uncovered tray, this set adds lids and a bin for storing extra ice. That is helpful when freezer space and odor exposure matter. If your priority is oversized cubes or a clearly stated tray footprint, those details are not provided here.

## Questions before you buy

**How many cubes does the set make?**

There are four trays, each making 12 cubes, for 48 cubes total.

**How large is each cube?**

Each cube measures 1.7 x 1.1 x 0.8 inches.

**How can you release and clean the cubes?**

Press the soft silicone bottom or twist the tray to release them. The product details say the trays can be rinsed, wiped clean, or placed in the dishwasher.

## Final verdict

This set makes sense if you want a steady supply of smaller cubes, covered trays that stack, and a bin for extras. Its useful distinction is the combination of four molds with storage, rather than a bare tray that needs to be emptied cube by cube when you want room for another batch. Skip it if large-format ice or confirmed tray and bin dimensions are essential to your decision, those are not listed.
