HyperX Cloud Flight 4P5H6AA Wireless Gaming Headset for PS5 and PS4

Set up for a PS5 or PS4 gaming session with the HyperX Cloud Flight wireless headset. Its 2.4GHz wireless connection keeps your play free from a wired headset connection, while up to 30 hours of battery life supports longer sessions between charges.

Memory foam ear cushions covered in premium leatherette and adjustable steel sliders are designed for comfort during extended play. The ear cups also rotate 90° for a different way to wear the headset during a break.

A detachable noise-canceling microphone, ear-cup volume and mute controls, and 50mm drivers make this a PlayStation-focused headset for both game audio and voice chat.

Who it’s for

This headset is designed for players using PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 who want wireless audio and a microphone for team chat. It suits a setup where reaching into game or system menus to adjust volume or mute the mic would interrupt the moment: both controls are on the ear cups. The detachable mic also lets you remove it for storage when voice chat is not part of the session.

If comfort over longer play sessions matters, the memory foam cushions and premium leatherette offer a soft, over-ear design, while adjustable steel sliders help tailor the fit. For a PlayStation setup, would you rather keep a cable connected or move around without a wired headset connection? Cloud Flight is built around wireless play.

Benefits

The 2.4GHz wireless connection and up to 30-hour battery life help keep the headset ready for extended gaming without tying your listening position to a headset cable. Battery life varies with use, and the stated maximum was tested at 50% headphone volume.

The 50mm drivers provide in-game audio, while the noise-canceling microphone is intended to help keep unwanted ambient noise out of voice chat. Controls on the ear cups make volume adjustments and mic muting accessible without navigating away from a game. Buyers speak positively about sound quality, while feedback on noise cancellation is mixed, the documented noise-canceling feature is the microphone for voice chat.

Highlights

Cloud Flight combines a PlayStation-oriented wireless design with practical details for gaming and breaks. The 90° rotating ear cups can rest around your neck when you step away, and the detachable microphone can be removed for storage. Memory foam cushions, premium leatherette, and adjustable steel sliders round out the over-ear fit. The headset weighs 287 g.

Compared with a wired gaming headset, this model centers on wireless use and on-headset controls. That makes it a practical approach for players who want to manage mic mute and volume from the headset itself while playing on PS5 or PS4. Its styling is identified as PS5 Blue.
