## Description

At 13 inches deep, 16 inches wide, and 27 inches high, the HUMHOLD portable air conditioner is a freestanding unit designed to move between rooms. Its four caster wheels and hidden side handles make repositioning part of everyday use.

With 14,000 BTU ASHRAE cooling capacity, it brings cooling, fan, and dehumidifier modes together in one unit. Set the cooling temperature from 61 to 90°F, or choose the mode that suits the room and conditions.

Need more than cooling on a humid day? Dry mode can remove up to 96 pints of moisture daily, while the remote lets you adjust settings from up to 28 feet away.

## What to know

This 3-in-1 unit is rated at 14,000 BTU under ASHRAE and 10,000 BTU under CEC, with a recommended room range of 500 to 700 square feet. That makes it suitable for spaces such as large bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and offices. For smaller rooms, a portable AC with a lower cooling capacity may be a closer match, this model is aimed at covering a broader area while also offering fan and dehumidifier functions.

In Cool mode, choose a temperature from 61 to 90°F. Fan mode has three speeds, and the 30–85-degree auto-swing feature helps distribute air around the room. Sleep mode and a 24-hour timer add convenient controls for nighttime use and scheduled shutoff. The listed noise level is 48 dB.

## How it fits

The freestanding design suits rooms where a window can be used for the exhaust hose. The included window sealing kit and hose are compatible with sliding vertical or horizontal windows. Once set up, the caster wheels help move the unit between suitable rooms, while the remote provides access to settings from a sofa or bed.

The self-evaporating system sends condensate outdoors through the exhaust. For Dry mode, continuous draining is required, it is also required in extremely high humidity above 85%. This distinction helps you plan the drainage setup around the mode and conditions you expect to use.

## Usage tips

For installation, attach the foam seal, assemble the window panels, and connect the exhaust hose. Position the unit so the hose can run to the window sealing kit, then select Cool, Fan, or Dry according to the room’s needs. Use the timer to set a shutoff time, or choose Sleep mode for nighttime operation.

When using the remote, keep in mind that it requires two AAA batteries, which are not included. During cooling, use the temperature controls to set your preferred range, the three-speed fan and auto-swing provide additional ways to direct airflow without changing modes.

## What to clarify

## Should you buy it?

Choose the HUMHOLD if you want a movable floor-standing AC for a room in the stated 500-to-700-square-foot range, along with fan and dehumidifier modes in the same unit.
