## Description

This ultra-soft play mat from Huloo Sleep creates a cushioned floor area for tummy time, crawling and play with a plush coral velvet surface and tatami-style construction that fits playpens and hardwood floors. Its 1.3-inch Elasti-Foam core provides impact protection for active infants and toddlers while the water-repellent finish helps keep messes under control.

## Key Points

The mat is certified to OEKO-TEX standards and tested to meet CPSIA and ASTM requirements, offering reassurance about low harmful substances according to the manufacturer. Sized at 50 x 50 inches, it works well inside playpens, in nursery corners or as a standalone padded play area. The non-slip backing enhances stability on smooth floors and the tatami-style design reduces noise while protecting wood from scratches and dents. Consider that the mat may need 3 to 7 days to fully expand after unpacking.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Huloo Sleep Ultra Soft Baby Play Mat**
- Dimensions: 50 x 50 inches
- Thickness: 1.3 inches
- Surface: coral velvet, water-repellent
- Core material: Elasti-Foam (slow-rebound foam)

## Benefits

The plush surface and thick foam core make floor time more comfortable for infants and provide a softer landing during tumbles. The water-repellent velvet face sheds spills and handles sticky situations with a damp cloth or baby wipe, minimizing maintenance time. Because the materials are designed to meet recognized safety tests, caregivers can focus more on play and bonding rather than material concerns.

## Usage Recommendations

Lay the mat on a flat surface and allow several days for decompression if the padding appears compressed after shipping. For routine cleaning, vacuum dry debris and spot-clean spills with a damp cloth. The mat is compatible with radiant floor heating according to the product description, but avoid direct prolonged exposure to strong heat or open flame. Use on top of rugs or directly on hardwood, tile or vinyl floors to create a safer, quieter play surface.
