Strain relief at both ends helps support repeated bending, and the socket’s hook gives you a place to hold when plugging in or unplugging.
Compatibility
Connect the male Type B plug to a compatible grounded outlet and use the female Type B socket with equipment that has a matching three-prong plug. The cord is rated for up to 13A, 125V, and 1,625W, so check the connected device’s requirements and keep the total load within those ratings. Its 6 ft length is suited to adding reach nearby, a longer extension cord is a better fit when the connection point is farther away.
The cord is intended for indoor and outdoor use, including home office appliances and seasonal setups. For example, it can extend a grounded connection to a compatible holiday decoration near a porch or landscaping area. The green jacket helps it blend into those surroundings, while the flexible cable is designed to unfold and bend for everyday placement.
Tips for day-to-day use
Uncoil the cord for use and route it where it can reach the device without pulling on the plug or socket. Use the socket hook to help grip the end when connecting or disconnecting equipment. Keep the connected load within the cord’s stated electrical rating, and use the grounded connection with compatible three-prong equipment.
Buyers commonly highlight the cord’s flexibility and green color, along with its suitability for outdoor setups. Those qualities make it a practical fit when you want a flexible short extension that is less conspicuous around seasonal displays or landscaping. Its strain-relief ends are also designed for bending during use, supporting a cable that may need to be repositioned as an appliance or decoration is set up.
