## Description

Brass is the defining material of this garden hose valve set. The package includes two shutoff valves and four extra washers. Both ends use 3/4-inch GHT threads. Buyer feedback is mixed on leak prevention and whether the valves fully shut off water, so sealing consistency is worth considering.

## Practical tips
Use a valve between a compatible garden hose and an attachment when you want to control water without disconnecting the hose. The 3/4-inch GHT connections are intended for garden-hose-threaded equipment, check that the hose and accessory use this thread type before installation. The listing says the valves can be hand-installed, with no tools needed. The larger handle is designed to make turning the ball valve easier, though buyers report differing experiences with operation.

The set may suit a watering setup with more than one hose or attachment, since it includes two valves. Keep the four supplied washers available for the connections. For a lawn sprinkler, for example, a valve at the hose end can provide a nearby shutoff point when changing the watering setup. It does not replace checking that each threaded connection is properly seated.

## Why it makes sense
The main distinction here is the brass valve body, paired with a larger handle and a design described as having an enlarged water-flow opening. That may appeal if you want a hose-mounted shutoff with a metal body rather than a simpler plastic valve. The listing does not provide a flow rate or a measured comparison, so the larger opening is a design feature, not a quantified performance promise.

Buyer opinions reflect both sides of the decision. Some appreciate the brass construction and find the valves easy to attach or operate, others report difficulty turning them, dripping at connections, or a shutoff that does not fully seal. Durability feedback is also mixed. These are customer experiences, not a guarantee of how an individual valve will perform, but they make the connection fit and shutoff action useful things to assess after installation.

## Is it worth it?
It’s a great fit if you want two brass hose shutoff valves in one set, use 3/4-inch GHT equipment, and value having extra washers on hand. It’s not for you if you need a documented flow rate or want consistent sealing performance established by the available information. Compared with choosing a single, basic shutoff, this set provides a second valve for another hose or attachment, the trade-off is that reports on operation and leakage are mixed. Choose it for the two-valve configuration and brass construction, while treating the flow and shutoff claims as unquantified.
