## Description

For work calls from a truck cab, customer service desk, or home office, the Hostena DG10 keeps your ears uncovered while its boom microphone puts call audio close to your voice. The open-ear bone conduction design avoids placing earbuds in the ear canal, and the rotatable microphone can be positioned to suit your setup.

Bluetooth 6.0, simultaneous connection to two devices, and one-touch mute make it practical to move between calls and devices while keeping controls close at hand.

## Key takeaways

The DG10 is a wireless headset for adults, teens, and kids, with open-ear placement and a physical push-button control. Its microphone features call noise cancellation and wind-noise reduction, designed to help keep your voice clear when there is background activity. A quick mute button gives you a direct way to silence the microphone during a call, without searching through software menus.

The headset supports Bluetooth connections up to 33 feet and can connect to two devices simultaneously. That can be useful when you want to keep a phone and another compatible device connected instead of switching connections each time. Battery life is listed at 24 hours, with a one-hour charge time, magnetic charging makes it easy to attach the headset to its charging port.

## How to use it

Place the over-ear headset with the ear area left open, then rotate the boom microphone toward your mouth for calls. The open-ear format is an alternative to in-ear earbuds: it avoids filling the ear canal and is intended for extended call use. In a work setting, that design can make it easier to hear surrounding sounds while staying on a conversation, keep driving and other safety-sensitive tasks within applicable rules and conditions.

Pair it wirelessly with a compatible cell phone, and use the physical controls to manage calls and mute the microphone when needed. When your workday includes conversation in changing environments, does a headset with an adjustable mic and a quick mute offer a more direct setup than earbuds without a boom? The DG10 brings those call controls together in one wearable device.

## Usage tips

Position the microphone near your mouth and adjust its angle for your preferred speaking position. Use the mute button when you need to pause your voice on a call, then press it again when you are ready to speak. For charging, bring the headset to its magnetic charging port so the connection can attach. Its silicone enclosure and lightweight design are intended for comfortable wear during longer calls, while the open-ear construction leaves the ear canal unobstructed.

Buyers have highlighted comfort during activities such as running and workouts, along with positive impressions of the sound. Those comments reflect individual experiences, for this headset’s work-focused use, the key distinction is its open-ear fit paired with a boom mic and dedicated mute control.

## Should you buy it?

The Hostena DG10 is a practical fit for work and customer-service calls when you want an open-ear headset rather than traditional in-ear earbuds. Bluetooth 6.0, dual-device connection, a rotatable noise-canceling microphone, and one-touch mute address everyday communication needs without relying on touch-screen controls. It suits you if you want a wireless headset that keeps the ear area open and makes call muting straightforward.
