## Description

At 4.33 x 1.77 x 3.23 inches, the lightweight HOOMOON P97 puts a camera, LCD screen, and ink-free thermal printer in a compact design for kids ages 3–12. It captures still photos and 1080p video, then prints black-and-white snapshots for a hands-on way to save favorite moments.

For children who want a picture they can hold right away, instant printing adds a different kind of fun than a camera used only to store digital images. Built-in filters and cartoon frames give kids simple ways to personalize what they capture.

## Tech summary

The camera’s one-key operation is designed to make taking a photo and printing it straightforward for young users. Thermal printing avoids ink refills, while the included paper gives children a supply for making snapshots to collect, decorate with, or share. A TF card for the children’s camera is also included for saving photos digitally.

## Best use cases
This camera suits everyday photo play at home, family outings, birthdays, and vacations. Kids can frame a scene on the LCD screen, add a filter or cartoon border, and choose between keeping a digital image and printing a small monochrome copy. That mix works well for children who enjoy physical keepsakes, while a camera focused only on digital storage may suit families who do not need instant prints.

The rechargeable design supports portable use, and its lightweight body is made for children to handle. Buyers commonly praise the simple controls and the appeal of seeing a picture print soon after taking it. They also appreciate having multiple paper rolls to get started. These are customer impressions, not a promise of a particular result for every child.

## Box contents
The package includes the camera, five rolls of print paper, a special TF card for the children’s camera, a USB cable, and a user manual. The five rolls give kids paper on hand for printing snapshots during play, rather than starting with a single roll. Thermal prints are black and white, so the printed keepsake has a different look from the JPEG image saved digitally.

## Questions before you buy
**Does it print in color?** No. The thermal prints are black and white, the camera’s still photos are saved as JPEG files.

**Can children record video as well as take photos?** Yes. The camera records video at 1080p and captures still photos at an effective 18 MP resolution.

**How is the camera powered?** It has a rechargeable battery. The listed charging time is 2 hours, and the stated continuous-use time is 3–4 hours, a USB cable is included.

## Is it worth it?
The HOOMOON P97 brings digital photo and video capture together with instant black-and-white prints, built-in playful effects, and five paper rolls. It’s a practical fit for families looking for a child-friendly camera that makes taking pictures an activity and turns selected moments into tangible keepsakes.
