Who it’s for

This lanyard is suited to people who wear a badge throughout the workday and want keys or small essentials attached in the same place. Teachers can keep an ID ready for school access, while nurses and other professionals can carry a badge between work areas. The retractable feature lets the attached badge extend for a scan while remaining connected to the lanyard.

The stretch fabric is useful when a little extra reach helps with everyday tasks. Some buyers describe using the stretch to open doors while keeping the lanyard on, and others appreciate its soft feel. Feedback also highlights its usefulness for work badges and notes the silky texture. Compared with a plain badge strap, this scrunchie-style option makes stretch and a softer fabric feel part of the design. Buyers’ views on durability are mixed, so those comments are best treated as personal impressions rather than a performance guarantee.

What’s included

A card holder attachment is part of the lanyard setup, giving you a place for an ID badge or access card. Attach the items you want to keep together, such as a work badge and keys, so they remain easy to reach during a shift or school day. The retractable mechanism supports presenting the badge for a scan without detaching it from the lanyard.

Should you buy it?

Choose this style if you want a wearable badge holder that also keeps keys or small accessories nearby, with stretchy fabric and a retractable feature for everyday access. The black scrunchie design suits professional settings, and the soft fabric offers a comfortable-feeling alternative to a conventional strap. It makes sense if your routine involves wearing an ID and occasionally bringing it forward to scan or show. For a teacher moving between rooms or a nurse working across different areas, the combination of an attached card holder and retractable reach keeps the badge available while the lanyard stays in place.
