Homestockplus 25 oz Wheat Straw Bowls, Set of 6, Microwave and Dishwasher Safe

A lightweight wheat-straw construction makes these Homestockplus bowls easier to carry than ceramic for everyday meals or outdoor dining. The six-piece set is listed at 25 oz per bowl, with a 5.9-inch width and 2.9-inch height, making it a practical format for cereal, oatmeal, soup, pasta, fruit, or salad.

They’re an alternative to heavier, breakable dinnerware, but they are not ceramic. If you want bowls for serving several people at home, or for packing along on a picnic or camping trip, the set covers a range of uses without relying on a single-purpose cereal bowl.

Strengths

The bowls are made from wheat straw material and are described as BPA-free. Their light weight is useful when carrying food from the kitchen or setting the table for children and older adults. The product information also lists them as microwave- and dishwasher-safe, so they can fit into everyday meal and cleanup routines.

A 25 oz size suits more than a small serving of cereal: the listed uses include oatmeal, soup, pasta, rice, fruit, and salad. Compared with ceramic, this set emphasizes portability and reduced breakage concerns rather than a ceramic look or feel. Worth considering if you want a matching group of versatile bowls for home meals and occasional outdoor use.

Highlights

The set includes six bowls in a beige/off-white color with a solid pattern and Art Deco style. Their 5.9-inch width and 2.9-inch height give them a defined, relatively compact footprint for serving or storing in a kitchen cabinet. The listed shape is a standard bowl, not a divided or lidded container.

Buyer feedback highlights everyday versatility and reports of the bowls holding up through dishwasher and microwave use. Some customers also like their appearance and ease of cleaning. Staining feedback is mixed, though: while some say the bowls stay clean, others mention marks from tomato soup or egg yolks. That makes them less predictable for strongly colored foods than a non-staining guarantee would suggest.

Maintenance

The care information allows hand washing or dishwasher cleaning. For microwave use, the manufacturer recommends keeping the heating temperature at or below 212°F and says not to microwave an empty bowl. Oven use is not supported, and the manufacturer advises against heating colored sauces in the bowls because this may cause permanent damage. These details matter if you plan to use them for reheating as well as serving.

Before you decide

Are these ceramic bowls? No. They are made from wheat straw material, so choose them for a lightweight alternative rather than a ceramic finish.

Can they go in the microwave? They are listed as microwave-safe, with manufacturer guidance to avoid heating an empty bowl and to keep the heating temperature at or below 212°F. Oven use is not supported.

What is included? The listed set contains six bowls, each described as 25 oz, in beige/off-white.

Is it worth it?

This set makes sense if you want six lightweight bowls for varied meals, everyday serving, or taking food outdoors, and dishwasher care is part of your routine. Not the best choice if you specifically want ceramic dinnerware or need bowls for oven use. The microwave guidance and mixed reports about staining are worth weighing if you often reheat colored sauces, for cereal, fruit, oatmeal, or general serving, the range of listed uses is a more straightforward fit.
