HomeHacks Laundry Hamper, 75L

Key specifications

If you want laundry storage that can stand open and hold a full load, these baskets are built for that job. If your priority is a hamper that disappears into a drawer when not in use, their size is worth weighing against the space you have.

The HomeHacks set includes two hampers in blue and pink. The listed capacity is 75L, and the stated dimensions are 15.7 x 11.8 x 24.4 inches. A metal frame around the top helps each basket stay upright, including when empty, the baskets also fold down for storage.

The fabric is cotton and flax, with a PEVA waterproof coating on the inside. Long handles on both sides are reinforced with stitching for carrying. One practical trade-off: the coating is not machine-washable, so cleaning means wiping the interior with a damp sponge or cloth. That’s a useful detail to keep in mind on the spec sheet, especially if you prefer laundry containers you can toss in the washer.

Who it’s for

This two-color set can help separate laundry by person, color, or room without needing separate rigid bins. It’s suited to bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry rooms, dorms, and other living spaces where a tall basket can stay in place between laundry days. The handles also make it easier to carry clothes from a bedroom to a laundry area than a basket that has to be hugged against your body.

It suits you if you want freestanding storage that can fold away when you need the floor space back. For example, you could keep one basket beside a bedroom dresser and carry it by its long handles when it’s full, while using the second in a bathroom for towels. You may want to skip it if you need a hamper that can go through the washing machine or prefer a hard-sided container that keeps its shape when folded away isn’t a concern.

In the box

The product is described as a two-pack: one blue hamper and one pink hamper. That gives you a simple way to keep two loads or categories of laundry separate. The listing does not describe extra accessories, so the useful comparison is with buying a single large basket: this set offers two separate containers, while one basket may make more sense if you only need a single collection point.

Questions before you buy

Can the hampers be machine-washed? No. The product instructions say the coating is not resistant to washing-machine cleaning. Wipe the inside with a damp sponge or cloth instead.

Will they stand upright when empty? The metal frame built into the top edges is intended to help the baskets stand upright, even when they have no laundry in them.

Can they be stored compactly? Yes. The baskets are described as collapsible, so they can be folded for storage when they are not in use.

When it makes sense

Choose this set if two separate, freestanding laundry spots would be more useful than one shared basket, and you have room for the listed dimensions while the hampers are open. The fold-down design is handy when you need to clear space, but it doesn’t change the cleaning limitation: the PEVA-coated interior needs to be wiped rather than machine-washed. If easy wipe-down care and a two-basket setup fit your routine, the main trade-off is simply making room for them when they’re standing upright.
