A linen + cotton blend, a double-layer feel, and a classic rectangular look are the big themes—plus the practical promise of being washable and easy to care for. That said, they’re still fabric placemats. They can help with everyday messes, but if you routinely deal with very hot items straight off the stove, you may want to pair them with something more protective. Also, since you’re dealing with cloth, you’ll want to follow the care steps closely to keep them looking good over time. ## The essentials These placemats are designed to sit under plates, bowls, and serving items to help protect your table from everyday debris and staining. The material blend (cotton + linen) is the foundation, and the listing positions them as durable, washable, and both anti-heat and anti-stain—useful traits for indoor dining and outdoor get-togethers. They also come as a set of six, which makes the “reset your table for guests” job much easier. Grass Green adds a punch of color that can refresh a dining setup without a full overhaul. On a practical level, imagine setting out lunch for friends: you put down the placemats, set plates and drinks, and when someone spills a little sauce, you’re not stuck wiping the tabletop for the next hour. Afterward, you can take them to the wash rather than treating stains as permanent. ## What you’ll notice in use The double-layer fabric is meant to feel thick and stable, so the placemats aren’t just paper-thin accessories. They’re also described as liquid-resistant in the sense that liquid can go through placemats (which reads like they’re intended to slow the damage), while still working as a protective layer for the table surface. The design is classic and rectangular, and the solid color approach makes them easy to match. If your goal is to keep a cohesive table look—without adding complicated patterns—this style tends to fit naturally. One limitation to keep in mind: fabric placemats can’t replace a true heat barrier for direct exposure. The “anti-heat” positioning helps for normal dining, but it’s worth using common sense with hot dishes. ## Care and cleaning (so they stay nice) For day-to-day ownership, care matters as much as the design. The care instructions are straightforward: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, tumble dry low, and low iron if needed. The listing also suggests pulling them from the dryer when they’re damp to help prevent shrinking, and washing separately from other articles. No bleach. If you’ve ever had table linens that warp or shrink after a quick “oops, I forgot,” this is the kind of detail that can save you hassle. ## Key specifications - Size: 13" x 19" - Set includes: 6 placemats - Color: Grass Green - Materials: linen and cotton blend - Care: machine wash cold (gentle cycle), tumble dry low, low iron if needed, remove from dryer while damp to prevent shrinking, separately from other articles, do not bleach ## Who these placemats suit (and who should skip) It makes sense if you want washable cotton-linen placemats for regular dining and entertaining—especially when you care about keeping the table looking clean and protected without spending extra time babysitting it. It might not suit you if your priority is maximum heat protection for very hot items placed directly from the stove, or if you prefer placemats that are fully resistant to soaking and spills the moment they happen. Also, if you hate doing laundry as part of “table maintenance,” cloth placemats will feel like a responsibility. A solid middle ground is using placemats for meals and serving, while relying on additional hot pads/trivets for extreme temperatures. ## When it makes sense? - Buy them if you want a coordinated set of six cloth placemats in a solid color, with care instructions designed to be realistic for home use. - Skip them if you expect the placemats to behave like non-porous, wipe-only table protection for heavy spills or direct, high heat. ## Mini FAQ ### Are these placemats only for indoor use? The description frames them for both indoor and outdoor settings, including parties and kitchen decoration. ### Can they go in the washing machine? Yes—machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry low. ### What size are they? Each placemat is listed as 13" x 19". ### Do they help with stains and spills? They’re described as anti-stain and positioned as a protective layer to help guard your table from debris and staining, but they’re still fabric, so quick cleanup and the recommended care matter. ## Final verdict Homaxy Cloths Placemats (set of 6) land in a practical, everyday category: cloth that’s meant to protect your table while still being washable and easy to maintain. If you host meals or want your table to look nice for guests, they’re a straightforward “put them down, enjoy the day, wash after” kind of buy. Just don’t treat them like a substitute for heavy-duty heat protection, and you’ll likely be happier with the results. ## Images ![Homaxy Cloths Placemats Set of 6 \(13" x 19"\) in Grass Green — Heat-Resistant Washable Cotton-Linen Table Mats — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/-J3sOAG3AONwfDaoaTalOxskdqtdTK1dRhbC2CBL2k39shexUCN0ix9C5H0J6hRXScG8Z7kbS9p5VACEhiCYawfh4XvrnPpaPiDpiRjq9GJ9pXnLp7J6SFl2jg.jpg) ![Homaxy Cloths Placemats Set of 6 \(13" x 19"\) in Grass Green — Heat-Resistant Washable Cotton-Linen Table Mats — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/P3F32yxQLHukFW7MPlKWqZ-U0mywzj_fnKt48QvJLJYO8fhvtO1DaOZJbQL0POhUQuzzAhmrX0PL417HnSIAHCSsHNjSEpMZ0La7ES38ICLdQ9VhTy4lFJk-0A.jpg) ![Homaxy Cloths Placemats Set of 6 \(13" x 19"\) in Grass Green — Heat-Resistant Washable Cotton-Linen Table Mats — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/KIwcdHMWn8zdMkc5GTdcHsJZU7vCuVr3LoHeHgFBFHK60mDQxsmRHE1BVvBkqeRmHpH1f93r1Q_9bvjxznvkF8IMbDALpCjV_NGZ_UFjX-0rgXho6T72-0eiNQ.jpg) ![Homaxy Cloths Placemats Set of 6 \(13" x 19"\) in Grass Green — Heat-Resistant Washable Cotton-Linen Table Mats — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/PmiXr9-uASeZmSkWKewg6Ix7u-gDXK3SXaJHoMrgb0qKBApARlK4BpcCzOQAW0AKF6Up6oLRPGwmofFn3PjuLXMMp13S3ONzpDzuSKSetF_X5DHn2YXU-pRc9A.jpg) ![Homaxy Cloths Placemats Set of 6 \(13" x 19"\) in Grass Green — Heat-Resistant Washable Cotton-Linen Table Mats — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/GgNMTXjXCVVLv-DlLRYvjtgbqgSC0sRy06AYChjMZcTmyAE4oERPR8DLUFTSd7aUEz6uF4yMrng_GOoEbXMepeTjmHzKp9oTkx56HuRUg9KJothUHxau6ZkXwA.jpg)
