Hola! Music 36" 3/4 Acoustic Guitar, Solid Spruce Top, Purple

For a new player who needs a smaller acoustic guitar, the Hola! Music 36" 3/4 model is designed around a scaled-down body for young musicians and travel. Its purple finish gives it a distinctive look without changing its beginner-focused role.

The solid spruce top is paired with a mahogany back, sides, and neck, while the fingerboard and bridge are listed as walnut. The guitar comes pre-strung with coated phosphor bronze strings, so it is ready to tune before playing.

Would a compact, ready-to-play acoustic suit the way the guitar will be used? The included bag and basic accessories make it easier to carry and get started, while the guitar’s lack of a pickup makes it an acoustic-only choice.

Key specifications

This combination is aimed at someone starting out or looking for a more compact instrument rather than a full-size guitar. The smaller format may be easier to manage for a young player or on a trip, but it is not a substitute for a full-size instrument if that is the size the player needs to practice on. Buyers often praise its appearance, tone, and suitability for beginners, feedback on the glossy finish is mixed, with some reporting scratches or dents.

Practical tips

The guitar arrives strung, but it still needs tuning before use. The included hex key is intended for adjusting the truss rod, which changes the distance between the strings and fingerboard. That adjustment can affect string action, so make small changes only if needed and avoid treating it as a tuning control.

For a first lesson or practice session at home, the 3/4 body and included strap offer a straightforward starting setup. It’s a great fit if the player wants a compact acoustic and a bundle of basic accessories. It may not suit you if you need an instrument with a pickup for amplification, the listed configuration has no pickup.

Included in the package

The set includes a padded gig bag with a front compartment, backpack straps, and a handle, along with three picks in different sizes, a pickguard, a hex key, and a strap. These additions cover basic carrying and playing needs, though the description does not list a tuner.

What to clarify

Does it need tuning before the first session? Yes. It is pre-strung, but the strings should be tuned before playing.

Can it connect to an amplifier? No pickup is listed, so this guitar is not described as having an onboard pickup for amplification.

What is the hex key for? It is used to adjust the truss rod and string action. Players unfamiliar with that adjustment may want help rather than making large changes themselves.

Is it worth it?

This guitar makes the most sense for a beginner who wants a smaller acoustic format and values having a gig bag and starter accessories included. Its spruce top, mahogany body and neck, and coated strings give buyers concrete details to consider alongside the color and size. Choose a different approach if the player needs a full-size guitar or an instrument with a pickup, those needs are not covered by the listed configuration.
