HITTITE 2x4/72"x50'-Green Welded Wire Fence, PVC-Coated Steel, 72 in. x 50 ft.

Galvanized steel wire with a green PVC coating gives this HITTITE fence roll two layers of material protection for outdoor garden projects. The coated finish is designed to help resist rust and corrosion, while blending into a yard or planting area.

At 72 in. high and 50 ft. long, the roll provides material for creating a continuous boundary around a garden, flower bed, or other planting area. Its 2 in. x 4 in. mesh offers a defined barrier while keeping the fence adaptable to different layouts.

Because the wire can be cut and customized, you can shape the roll around the area you want to enclose rather than relying on fixed-size sections. Roll it up for storage when it is not in use.

What you’ll notice day to day

The green finish suits garden and yard settings, and the roll format makes it practical to plan a boundary around beds or a vegetable garden. Use the full length for a longer perimeter, or cut and shape sections to fit a particular outdoor project. The fence is intended to help protect plantings from deer, dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals, the barrier’s usefulness depends on how it is laid out for the space.

The galvanized metal core and PVC coating are designed to help the wire withstand outdoor exposure by providing rust and corrosion protection. That combination is a practical feature for fencing that stays outdoors around plants and garden borders. The wire is 14 gauge before coating, with a 12.5-gauge overall diameter after coating.

Buyers commonly describe the fencing as useful for keeping deer out of gardens, and also highlight its sturdiness and manageable handling during installation. Those perspectives may help when weighing a roll of adaptable fencing against a more rigid, fixed-size approach: the roll can be cut and shaped for a layout that needs a custom fit.

Key takeaways

This is a welded wire garden fence in a 72 in. x 50 ft. roll, with 2 in. x 4 in. mesh. The green PVC-coated galvanized metal construction combines a garden-friendly color with rust- and corrosion-resistance features for outdoor use. Its cut-to-size format works for protective borders around vegetable gardens, flower beds, pet areas, and other plantings. The product is supplied as one piece, so the roll can be planned as a continuous run or divided into sections for a project.

Practical tips

Map the boundary you want to create before cutting the roll, then shape the wire to suit the garden’s outline or the area being enclosed. This is useful for layouts that do not follow a simple straight line, as well as projects where a single long run is preferred. Handle the cut-to-fit material as part of your installation plan, and roll it up for convenient storage when it is not needed. The coating and galvanized steel are intended for outdoor protection, making the fence suitable for garden and yard applications.

Is it worth it?

A solid pick if you want a tall, green wire barrier that can be tailored to your outdoor layout. The 72-inch height, 50-foot length, 2 in. x 4 in. mesh, and cuttable roll format give you practical options for setting up boundaries around gardens and protecting plantings. Its coated galvanized construction adds a useful layer of rust and corrosion protection for outdoor projects.
