Hi-Spec DT30558GY-DE 8V Cordless Drill Tool Kit with USB Charging

For homeowners and DIY beginners who need tools for routine repairs and furniture assembly, the Hi-Spec DT30558GY-DE combines an 8V cordless drill with a selection of household hand tools in one portable toolbox. Its USB-rechargeable drill has variable speed up to 800 rpm, 10 N·m of torque, and a built-in LED work light for added visibility while you work.

The compact case keeps the drill, bits, and essential hand tools together, so the kit is ready to bring out for maintenance around the house or store between projects.

At a glance

This gray tool set includes a cordless drill driver, battery charger, USB charging cable, drill bits, screwdriver bits, nut driver bits, pliers, an adjustable spanner, a hammer, and a toolbox case. The drill’s 1,500 mAh rechargeable battery and cordless design give you a convenient setup for everyday DIY tasks. Rather than choosing a drill on its own and sourcing hand tools separately, this kit brings common drilling, fastening, and household repair tools together.

The drill is intended for wood, plastic, soft thin metals such as aluminum, and drywall. It is not suited to brick, concrete, hardened metals, or tile. Customers often describe the kit as a useful starter set for small jobs and appreciate having its tools together. Feedback on durability and battery life is mixed, with some customers reporting issues such as broken bits or chargers that did not work.

Who it’s for

This set suits homeowners, students, and DIY beginners who want a selection of everyday tools in one case. It can help with tasks such as assembling furniture, driving screws, tightening nuts and bolts, and handling routine household maintenance. The included hand tools also make it useful when a job calls for pliers, a hammer, or an adjustable spanner rather than the drill alone.

If your projects mainly involve common household materials, the drill’s 10 N·m torque and variable speed offer practical control for drilling and fastening tasks. For jobs involving materials outside its stated use, choose a tool designed for that material instead.

How to use it

Select a drill bit for drilling or a screwdriver or nut driver bit for fastening, then turn the chuck head to swap the bit. Use the variable-speed control as you work, and switch on the built-in LED when the work area needs extra illumination. The 800 rpm maximum speed gives you a clear specification to consider when choosing a cordless drill for routine home projects.

Recharge the drill through USB using the included charging cable and battery charger. For a typical furniture assembly project, the drill and driver bits can handle the fastening steps, while the hand tools are on hand for other adjustments. Keeping the pieces in the case makes it easier to store the set together and carry it to different tasks around the home.

Should you buy it?

The Hi-Spec DT30558GY-DE is a practical fit for people building a home tool collection or looking for a compact, all-in-one set for everyday DIY. Its combination of an 8V cordless drill, USB charging, LED work light, interchangeable drill and driver bits, and useful hand tools supports a broad range of routine household tasks. Choose it for furniture assembly and maintenance in suitable materials when having the drill and essential hand tools together is more useful than buying a drill alone.
