HHMATITS Diamond Painting Kit, 12 x 16-Inch

A quiet evening at home or a blank stretch of wall can make room for a hands-on project. The HHMATITS landscape diamond painting kit turns a 12 x 16-inch canvas into a DIY display piece using round drills placed over a printed design. It’s aimed at adults and beginners, with the tools for getting started included.

The appeal is the process as much as the finished picture: place the diamonds one by one, then decide where the completed landscape belongs. It’s a slower, more tactile alternative to buying ready-made wall art, but it also takes more patience than a quick decorating update.

Key specifications

The kit uses a 12 x 16-inch high-definition canvas with a printed background and letter symbols to help identify where each color goes. Its backing is self-adhesive, and the canvas is described as waterproof. The design uses a full drill layout with round diamonds, so the image is built up across the canvas rather than decorated only in selected areas.

That full-coverage approach gives the project a clear, repetitive rhythm: settle the canvas on a flat surface, find a symbol, and place the matching drills in sequence. The listing doesn’t provide a completion-time estimate or details about the landscape design itself, so the amount of work and the final look will depend on the pattern and your pace. Without having tried it, the practical tradeoff is clear: this is a craft project, not an instant wall refresh.

Who it’s for

It suits you if you enjoy detailed, hands-on activities and want to make your own wall decor rather than choose a finished print. The kit is positioned for adults and beginners, and the included pen and tray mean you don’t have to source those basic tools separately. It could also work as a shared project: two people can sort colors and place drills side by side, though the canvas dimensions still define the finished piece’s size.

Not the best choice if you want a quick result, prefer a low-detail craft, or need a larger canvas for a particular wall. The listing gives dimensions but not the artwork’s exact subject beyond “landscape,” so someone choosing decor to match a specific room should account for that missing design detail.

Box contents

The package includes one canvas, one diamond pen, one tray, one piece of clay, and four resealable bags. Each color comes with 30% extra diamonds, which provides some spare drills for the project. That’s useful if a few pieces are misplaced, but it doesn’t change the fact that the work depends on placing many small diamonds carefully.

Before you decide

Are the diamonds round or square? They’re described as round, and the kit uses a full drill format.

What tools are included? You get a diamond pen, tray, clay, and four resealable bags, alongside the canvas.

Is there extra material for each color? The listing says each color includes 30% extra diamonds. It doesn’t specify a separate finished-frame or hanging kit.

Is it worth it?

This kit makes sense if you want the making process to be part of the purchase and are comfortable spending time on a full-canvas design. The adhesive canvas, symbol-marked background, and stated extra diamonds support a straightforward start, while the 12 x 16-inch size gives you a defined target for display. Choose a ready-made print instead if your main goal is to decorate quickly, or look for a larger format if this canvas won’t suit the space. The decision comes down to whether you want a relaxing craft session and a piece you assembled yourself—not simply a landscape image on the wall.
