## Description

The roomy padded top perch gives cats a soft, elevated place to rest and watch their surroundings. The Heybly HCT031G combines that lookout spot with multiple levels for climbing, lounging, scratching, and hiding.

Designed for indoor use, this smoky gray cat tree is made with faux fur, sisal, and particle board. Its mix of surfaces gives cats different ways to settle in or engage with the structure throughout the day.

Would a single scratching post offer the same range of activities? With eight levels, a cozy basket, and sisal-wrapped posts, this tower brings resting and scratching areas together in one piece of furniture.

## Highlights

The large padded top platform measures 20 × 16 inches, giving a large cat room to stretch out or providing a comfortable perch for kittens to share. Positioned above the other levels, it also creates a spot for observing a room or looking toward a window.

Sisal-wrapped posts provide a dedicated surface for scratching, while the faux-fur covering adds soft places to rest. The layered layout supports a natural mix of climbing, lounging, and hiding, so cats can move between activities without relying on a standalone scratcher and separate resting furniture. A cozy basket adds another place to settle in.

The particle-board structure forms the frame, and the tree is intended for cats, including large cats weighing up to 20 lbs. Its smoky gray finish offers a neutral look for indoor spaces.

## Fit and sizing

This tower is intended for indoor cats and is a practical match for a home looking to combine vertical activity with dedicated lounging spots. Its 69-inch profile makes use of vertical space, while the 20 × 16-inch top platform gives a useful reference for the main resting area. Consider where you want the tower to sit and make sure the chosen spot has room for cats to approach and use its levels.

For households with a large cat, the stated 20 lbs suitability and spacious top perch are especially relevant. Kittens can also use the elevated platform as a shared resting spot. The eight-level design offers more than one place to perch, scratch, or relax, making it suited to cats that enjoy moving between activities.

## Usage tips

Assembly is required, hardware and instructions are provided. Set up the tree on the floor in its intended indoor location, following the included instructions. Once assembled, place it where cats can comfortably access the levels and where the high perch gives them a view they enjoy.

The sisal posts are the designated scratching surfaces, while the plush areas and basket provide resting options. For care, the stated instruction is dry clean only. Keeping those use areas easy to reach helps make the tree a clear part of a cat’s everyday indoor space.

## Is it worth it?

The HCT031G is a useful choice for cat owners who want one structure to support scratching, climbing, and lounging instead of buying a basic scratching post alone. Its large padded perch, cozy basket, eight levels, and sisal-wrapped posts give cats distinct places for different activities. It suits you if you want a tall indoor cat tree with a generously sized top resting platform for a large cat or kittens.
