## Description

Set up a desk for gaming, office tasks, or everyday typing with the Hexgears I4, a wired mechanical keyboard with a number pad and tactile Kailh Box switches. Its pink-and-white colorway adds a distinctive look to a desktop setup.

The tactile switches provide a noticeable bump with each press, giving you clear feedback while entering text or numbers. A QWERTY layout and number pad keep familiar keys within reach for routine work and play.

An aluminum housing, hot-swappable switches, and per-key RGB lighting bring practical customization to the setup. Use the Hexgears driver to remap keys, create macros, and adjust lighting effects.

## Who it’s for

The I4 suits people who want a mechanical keyboard with a dedicated number pad rather than a more compact layout. That arrangement is useful when entering figures, working with spreadsheets, or switching between number-heavy tasks and regular typing. Its tactile feedback also offers a distinct keypress feel for gaming and daily use.

The pink-and-white finish makes the keyboard a visible part of a desk setup, while the aluminum case and silver decorative backplate give it a defined, minimalist look. For someone choosing between a fixed-switch keyboard and one intended for customization, the I4’s hot-swappable PCB makes changing compatible switches part of the design. Switch replacement is solder-free.

## What stands out

Kailh Box tactile switches deliver a noticeable bump and crisp response without being described as overly loud. The enclosed Box design is intended to enhance dust and water resistance, and the switches are rated for a 100-million-keystroke lifespan. These details make the switch design a key part of the typing experience, rather than simply a choice of color or lighting.

Per-key RGB backlighting offers customizable colors, brightness, and effects, with 16.8 million color options. The PBT keycaps are thick and not shine-through, so the lighting is visible around the keys rather than glowing through their legends. Through the Hexgears driver, you can also remap keys and set up macros, N-key rollover supports registering multiple keypresses during complex commands.
