HETP HX45X2 Mini iPhone Charger, 5000mAh with LCD Display
Product description
Highlights
For iPhone owners who want a compact backup charger for everyday outings, the HETP HX45X2 combines a 5000mAh battery with a small plug-in design. Its LCD display shows the power bank’s remaining battery percentage. The direct-attach format suits a different need than carrying a separate power bank and cable: a compact charger that connects to a compatible iPhone while you use it.
Measuring 3.2 x 1.96 x 1 inches, it can fit in a pocket or handbag for travel, errands, and other times when a wall outlet is not close by. The built-in chip provides overcharge, over-discharge, short-circuit, and overheating protection. Pass-through charging also lets the power bank and a connected iPhone charge at the same time, so you can recharge both together.
How it fits
This charger is designed for select iPhone models, including the iPhone 14, 13, 12, and 11 families, along with listed earlier models such as iPhone XS, XR, X, 8, 7, and 6. It is not compatible with iPhone 15, 16, or 17 series models. Check your phone’s model before choosing a charger, especially if you have a newer iPhone.
The compact shape is useful when you want backup power without packing a separate cable for the connection to your phone. If you use a case, the charger supports charging through cases less than 4mm thick, thicker cases may need to be removed for use. Buyers often highlight its portability, small size, and ease of use. Feedback on charging speed and how long the battery lasts is mixed, so those experiences vary.
Getting the most from it
The LCD makes it easier to see when the power bank itself needs recharging, rather than relying on an indicator light alone. For a day of travel or time outdoors, pack it as a compact backup and check its displayed charge before heading out. Its pass-through feature can be handy when you have access to a power source: connect the iPhone and charger together so both can charge at once.
A charging cable and user manual are included. Keep the phone’s compatibility and case fit in mind when setting it up: the charger is intended for the listed iPhone models, and its case-through use is specified for cases under 4mm thick.
Practical questions
Which iPhone models does the HX45X2 support? It is listed for iPhone 14, 13, 12, and 11 models, as well as select earlier models including iPhone XS, XR, X, 8, 7, and 6. It does not support iPhone 15, 16, or 17 series models.
Can I use it with my phone case on? Yes, when the case is less than 4mm thick. For a thicker case, remove it to use the charger.
Can the phone and power bank charge at the same time? Yes. The charger supports pass-through charging, allowing a connected iPhone and the power bank to charge together.
When it makes sense
The HX45X2 is a practical fit for someone with a compatible iPhone who values a compact backup and a clear readout of the charger’s remaining power. Its pocket-friendly dimensions and direct-attach design make it well suited to travel, errands, and outdoor plans where carrying a separate cable setup is less convenient.
