Herschel Supply Co. Heritage Softshell CarryOn 37L

This softshell carry-on from Herschel combines eco-conscious materials with practical features for short trips and business travel, offering light rolling mobility and organized packing for carry-on limits. It has a 37 L capacity and a subdivided layout that keeps essentials accessible while the softshell build protects contents in transit.

Key Points

Made with recycled EcoSystem 600D fabric and a tonal EcoSystem lining created from 100% post-consumer recycled water bottles, this carry-on reflects Herschel’s move toward more sustainable materials. The main compartment opens with a bidirectional zipper that can accept a lock for added security, and internal straps keep clothing and gear in place. Two all-terrain wheels and a multi-stage locking telescopic handle help with smooth movement through terminals, and padded EVA handles on the top and side make lifting easier when needed. There is a front zip pocket with a mesh organizer and a key clip for quick access to travel documents and small items.

Technical Specifications

• Name: Herschel Heritage Softshell CarryOn, 37L
• Capacity: 37 L
• Material: EcoSystem 600D fabric with EcoSystem striped lining
• Wheels: Two all-terrain wheels
• Handles: Multi-stage telescoping handle, padded top and side EVA handles

Benefits

The softshell construction offers a lighter weight alternative to hardshell suitcases while still providing protective features like reinforced top corners and a durable nylon base panel. The organized front pocket with mesh compartments and a key clip reduces time spent searching for essentials. Wheels rated for varied surfaces and the locking handle reduce strain during long walks through stations and connecting gates. Consider that softshell luggage may compress more than rigid cases when tightly packed or stacked, so allow a bit of room if you prefer rigid protection.

Usage Recommendations

Use the subdivided main compartment and elastic cross-straps to separate clothing from electronics or shoes, which helps keep items secure and wrinkle-free. Place frequently needed items such as boarding passes and travel wallets in the front zip pocket for fast retrieval. For longer trips combining checked bags, this carry-on works well as a convenient personal bag thanks to its moderate 37 L capacity and multiple carry options.
