## Description

When a dog drinks calmly, a simple bowl may be all that’s needed, enthusiastic drinkers can benefit from a setup designed to manage splashes and slow access to water. The heouvo bowl pairs a floating disk with a lid to help keep drinking more controlled. Its generous capacity also suits large dogs and homes with multiple pets.

## Pros
The floating disk rises and falls with the water, dispensing it through its opening as a dog drinks. This design slows access to water and helps reduce splashing, while also keeping loose hair, dust, and dirt from dropping into the bowl. The hollow lid adds another layer of splash control and helps stop dogs from pawing at the water or removing the disk. For long-haired or long-eared dogs, that can help keep the drinking area neater.

A 2.6-gallon capacity means there’s room for plenty of water for large dogs or a multi-pet household. The bowl is made from 304 stainless steel, with a silicone base designed to help hold it steady and protect floors. Those features also make it a practical choice for everyday use in the home or for containing splashes during car travel. Buyers commonly praise its spill control, roomy size, and ease of cleaning, making these practical benefits a recurring part of their feedback.

## Highlights
The lid and floating disk work together to manage how water reaches the surface. For a dog that tends to gulp, the floating disk offers a slower way to drink, for a dog that splashes or noses around the bowl, the lid helps keep water contained. The lid can also be removed when a dog is comfortable drinking without it, so the setup can be adjusted to suit the animal’s habits.

For a day at home, the large capacity can reduce how often the bowl needs refilling, while the stainless-steel drinking surface provides a durable everyday option. In a car, the lid, floating disk, and non-slip silicone base are useful features for managing water around movement and bumps. The bowl measures 11.02 x 11.02 x 6.89 inches, giving it a broad footprint for a dedicated drinking spot.

## Care & maintenance
To open the bowl, align the lid slots with the rubber inserts and twist to lock, twist in the opposite direction to unlock it for access. The bowl body, lid, and floating disk are dishwasher-safe, which makes routine cleanup straightforward. The one-piece molded disk is designed without a separate section to pry open for cleaning. If your dog drinks comfortably without the lid, it can be removed for a more open drinking setup.

## Final verdict
This bowl is suited to owners who want a high-capacity drinking station with features focused on reducing splashes and slowing a dog’s drinking. Large dogs, multiple-pet households, and families looking for a tidier bowl for home or car use can benefit from the combined lid, floating disk, stainless-steel bowl, and silicone base. It brings those practical needs together in one setup, with the flexibility to remove the lid as a dog’s drinking habits allow.
