## Description

The 1.5 oz/yd² polypropylene fabric helps shield outdoor plants from frost, cold wind, and sudden temperature drops while allowing sunlight, air, and moisture to pass through. At 10 ft x 40 ft, this white frost cloth provides coverage for raised beds, vegetable rows, and other planting areas.

Drape it directly over crops or use hoops, frames, or stakes to support the cover above them. Secure the fabric with clips, stakes, stones, or hoops for a practical setup around changing seasonal conditions.

## Highlights

This floating row cover is designed for gardens where plants need a layer of protection without blocking sunlight, airflow, or moisture. The breathable polypropylene fabric can rest over seedlings, vegetables, strawberries, herbs, flowers, shrubs, and potted plants. That makes it useful for protecting a range of outdoor plantings with one adaptable garden cover.

The 10 ft x 40 ft size suits larger beds and rows as well as multiple smaller planting areas. Use it as a frost blanket over crops, or pair it with hoops or a frame when you want the fabric held above the plants. Compared with covering plants individually, a row-cover setup can provide coverage across a shared bed or planting row. The open design lets you arrange the cloth to suit the layout of your garden.

## Usage tips

Drape the cloth directly over the plants or position it over hoops, frames, or stakes. Secure the edges with clips, stakes, or stones so the cover stays arranged around the planting area. For seasonal use, fold the fabric after removing it and store it for another round of winter protection, spring seedlings, or fall coverage. Its flexible setup makes it suitable for a garden bed that changes as crops grow or seasons shift.

## Who it’s for

This cover is suited to gardeners who want a single fabric option for raised beds, vegetable rows, and a mix of outdoor plants. It can help when seedlings need coverage during a cold spell, when vegetables are growing through fall or early spring, or when flowers and shrubs need a seasonal frost blanket. The broad dimensions are also useful when you want to cover a planting area rather than select separate small covers for each plant.

If you prefer a floating row cover that can lie directly over crops or be arranged on hoops, this format offers both approaches. Choose the setup based on the plants and bed layout: direct draping keeps installation simple, while supports hold the cloth above the crop. It makes sense if you want breathable garden fabric for seasonal freeze protection across beds, rows, or several plants.

## Final verdict

HEKIWAY’s 10 ft x 40 ft frost cloth combines a substantial coverage area with a 1.5 oz/yd² polypropylene fabric that allows sunlight, air, and moisture through. Its flexible placement and reusable seasonal format make it a practical fit for gardeners protecting vegetables, seedlings, flowers, or shrubs from frost and cold-weather exposure.
