## Description

## Tech specs

The 1.5 oz/yd² polypropylene fabric lets sunlight, air, and moisture pass through while helping shield plants from frost, cold wind, and sudden temperature drops. Its 10 ft x 30 ft coverage gives you one large piece for garden rows, raised beds, or groups of outdoor plants.

- Brand: HEKIWAY

- Type: Floating row cover and frost cloth
- Size: 10 ft x 30 ft
- Material: Polypropylene (PP)

## Usage tips

Drape the cloth over crops directly or set it over hoops, a frame, or stakes. Secure the edges with clips, stakes, or stones so the cover stays in place around the plants. This flexible setup suits vegetables, seedlings, strawberries, herbs, flowers, shrubs, and potted plants, making it useful across different areas of a home garden.

For a row of vegetables, the wide-format fabric can cover several plants together rather than requiring a separate cover for each one. If you want a supported cover instead of fabric resting on crops, hoops or a frame provide another practical way to arrange it. Which setup works best for your garden? Choose based on the plants and the shape of the area you want to cover.

## Getting the most from it

Use the frost cloth as a seasonal plant cover in fall, winter, or early spring, including for young seedlings and outdoor vegetables. It can also serve as a garden bed cover or greenhouse fabric to help create a more stable growing environment. Because sunlight, air, and moisture can pass through the material, it can remain over plants while still allowing those elements to reach them.

After use, fold the fabric for compact storage and bring it out again for another seasonal covering. For a bed with hoops, arrange the cloth across the supports and secure it at the edges, for individual plants or a small group, drape it in place and fasten it with suitable clips or stakes. The broad sheet is especially useful when your planting area is a row or bed rather than a collection of isolated pots.

## What to clarify

What size is the frost cloth? It measures 10 ft x 30 ft, providing a large sheet for raised beds, vegetable rows, or broader planting areas.

What is the fabric made of? It is made from polypropylene (PP) and has a fabric weight of 1.5 oz/yd². The white material allows sunlight, air, and moisture to pass through while helping protect plants from frost and cold wind.

How can it be installed? Drape it over plants directly or use hoops, a frame, or stakes to support it. Clips, stakes, or stones can be used to secure the fabric in place.

## Final verdict

HEKIWAY FHDT is a practical choice for gardeners who want one reusable cover for larger planting areas and a range of outdoor plants. Its 10 ft x 30 ft format, breathable polypropylene fabric, and flexible direct-drape or hoop-supported setup make it well suited to seasonal frost protection for beds, rows, seedlings, vegetables, flowers, and shrubs.
