## Description

For indoor cats that like to tuck themselves away between play sessions, the Heeyoo cat cave combines an enclosed resting nook with a tunnel for exploring and lounging.

Its 24 x 24 x 11-inch donut shape gives cats a defined place to curl up, while the 7-inch tunnel opening adds a route in and out. The light gray color and modern style make it a calm-looking addition to a room.

Choose this style when your cat needs both a cozy hideaway and a play feature. A simple open bed focuses on lounging, this cave pairs a sheltered nook with a tunnel cats can explore.

## Key points

The enclosed donut creates a dim, tucked-away spot for naps, and the tunnel adds another way to use the bed beyond sleeping. The large size measures 24 x 24 x 11 inches, with a 7-inch opening. The tunnel is intended for play with cats up to 13–15 lb, for cats 17 lb or more, Maine Coons, or larger frames, the manufacturer recommends the Jumbo size for more room.

The stated 45 lb capacity applies when a cat is curled inside the donut or lounging on top. It is a weight rating for those positions, not a tunnel-fit rating. Keeping those two figures distinct helps you choose based on how your cat will use the cave.

The scratch-friendly felt is designed to resist claws and protect sofas and carpets. It is also described as holding its shape through daily kneading and scratching. Buyers often say their cats enjoy the cave and describe it as roomy, some also praise its sturdiness and straightforward setup. Feedback on the zipper is mixed, with some finding it easy to use and others reporting difficulty.

## Care & maintenance

For cleaning, unzip the donut section and machine-wash it. The felt can be vacuumed to clear away loose hair and debris. The sections zip together without tools, making the cave straightforward to assemble and take apart for care. In a practical routine, vacuum the felt as needed and remove the donut section when it needs a wash.

## Best use cases

This cave suits indoor cats who enjoy enclosed places for resting, as well as cats who like moving through a tunnel during play. Set it in a familiar indoor spot where your cat can approach the opening and settle inside, or lounge on the top. Its compact, rounded profile gives the cat a distinct resting area without the open-bed-only layout of a basic cushion.

The opening and recommended cat size are especially useful considerations for tunnel play. If your cat is within the stated 13–15 lb range, the large version is intended for that use, a larger-framed cat or one weighing 17 lb or more is directed to the Jumbo size. The cave’s 45 lb capacity describes curled or top-lounging use, not passage through the opening.

## Is it worth it?

A solid pick if you want one indoor cat bed to provide a sheltered nap spot and a tunnel for play, rather than a simple open sleeping surface. The washable zip-off donut and vacuum-friendly felt also make routine care practical. Its light gray finish, defined dimensions, and separate guidance for tunnel fit and lounging capacity help match the cave to your cat’s space and preferred way to use it.
