HeatPomelo Arch Magnetic Chalkboard Wall Decal, 40" x 18", Celadon Matte

For teachers, parents, and home or office users who want a dedicated space for writing and displaying notes, this arch-shaped wall decal combines a chalkboard with a magnet-receptive surface. Its matte, writable finish supports everyday notes, learning, and creative activities. The peel-and-stick backing gives a smooth, flat wall a useful new purpose. Its celadon color adds a soft accent to the room.

At a glance

This 40" x 18" decal works as both a chalkboard and a surface for lightweight magnetic items. Write on it with chalk, then erase the writing to make room for a fresh list, lesson, or drawing. The built-in iron layer lets compatible magnets hold notes, photos, memos, and schedules alongside the writing area. The decal itself is not a magnet, and holding strength varies with the magnets used.

The arched shape creates a defined display area for a classroom activity, a family message board, or reminders near a home workspace. Compared with a writing-only wall decal, this design also provides a place to display lightweight items with magnets, keeping written information and selected reminders together. Buyers often appreciate the simple installation and dual-purpose use, feedback about magnetic hold is mixed, which aligns with the product’s dependence on the magnets chosen.

Fit and sizing

The vertical board measures 18" wide by 40" high and is made of polypropylene (PP). Its celadon matte surface suits a range of creative and practical settings, including home, office, school, and creative studio spaces. Use it where a smooth, flat wall can serve as an accessible writing and display area. The shape and dimensions provide a clear, upright zone for a weekly schedule, classroom prompts, or children’s drawing activities.

Usage tips

Peel off the backing, position the decal on a smooth, flat wall, and smooth the surface with a squeegee or card during installation. Installation by two adults is recommended to help position it evenly. The adhesive is intended for permanent placement, removing the decal can damage delicate surfaces such as latex-painted walls, wallpaper, or wall fabric. Choose the placement with that in mind.

Once installed, use chalk for writing and drawing, and select lightweight magnetic items for the display area. For a family routine, the board can hold a short daily note alongside a photo or reminder, in a classroom or office, it can bring a written prompt and related memo into one visible spot. Buyers also mention that the surface is easy to wipe down, making it practical to refresh for the next activity. The surface is matte, and the board’s dual-purpose layout supports both creative use and everyday organization.

Should you buy it?

Choose this HeatPomelo decal if you want a wall-mounted chalkboard that also accepts lightweight magnetic displays, without setting up a separate writing board and memo area. Its 40" x 18" vertical format offers space for notes, schedules, and creative activities, while the peel-and-stick design creates a dedicated spot on a smooth, flat wall. It suits homes, classrooms, and offices where a reusable chalk surface and a place for magnetic reminders can make everyday information easier to gather in one location.
