## Description

For an upstairs bedroom or other elevated room, the Hausse retractable fire escape ladder provides a stored route to a window exit in an emergency. Its 25-foot length is designed for use in three-story rooms.

Aluminum construction and slip-resistant rungs support a more controlled descent, while the hooks attach to a window frame or sill. Extend both hooks fully before use to help position the ladder securely.

The ladder requires no assembly or tools and comes in a red canvas storage bag. Keep it near the window where it may be needed, and practice deployment with your household before an emergency.

## Who it’s for
This ladder is intended for households preparing an emergency exit from an upper-story room. It offers a storable alternative to a permanently installed exterior staircase: keep it close to a suitable window, then deploy it when needed. Its red canvas bag helps keep the ladder together and ready to access, while the no-tools, no-assembly setup is designed for quick deployment.

The hooks are designed to secure to the frame or sill of most windows. During household practice, identify the intended window and become familiar with extending both hooks to their maximum before placing them. A test fitting may leave marks on siding, a window, or walls, so choose a practice approach with those surfaces in mind.

## What you get
The package includes one retractable fire escape ladder and a red canvas storage bag. The aluminum ladder has slip-resistant rungs intended to provide a steadier foothold as someone descends. Store it under a bed or near the designated window so it is accessible when required.

The manufacturer describes the ladder as intended for one-time emergency use. After it has been deployed, plan to replace it rather than return it to emergency storage. The manufacturer also recommends replacement every three years to maintain its intended readiness.

Buyer feedback often highlights the ladder’s sturdiness, function, storage bag, and ease of deployment. Opinions about safety and secure attachment are mixed, and some buyers report sharp edges on the aluminum rungs. Household practice can help users learn the deployment steps and understand how the hooks fit their chosen window before an emergency.

## Should you buy it?
Choose this Hausse ladder if you want a compact, storable emergency exit option for a three-story room, with a 25-foot reach, aluminum construction, and a bag for keeping it near a window. Its practical value comes from having a designated escape route ready to deploy, rather than relying on a ladder assembled only after an emergency begins. Set aside time to practice as a household, follow the hook setup instructions, and keep the ladder available at the window you plan to use.
