## Description

Made from alloy metal, this black 2R2L set is designed for replacing bass tuning pegs on compatible Precision or Jazz Bass-style instruments. Its open-gear design keeps the tuning mechanism visible, while the 24:1 gear ratio provides a defined adjustment mechanism for tuning. Choose a focused tuner replacement when the rest of your bass hardware is staying in place. The set includes four tuning pegs and mounting hardware.

## Practical tips

Before installing, compare the bass headstock’s peg holes with the stated 9/16-inch (14 mm) fit and make sure the 2R2L arrangement matches the positions needed on your instrument. The set is intended for common-size peg holes on Precision or Jazz Bass-style basses, so checking both the hole size and tuner layout helps you select the right replacement parts. Nuts, ferrules, and screws are included for mounting.

This is a targeted option for refreshing tuning hardware rather than changing unrelated parts of a bass. For example, if a tuner needs replacement but the instrument’s other hardware is remaining in use, a four-peg set keeps the purchase focused on that repair. The open-gear format also suits players who want that style of tuner on a compatible bass.

## Pros

The 2R2L configuration gives you a coordinated set of four tuners for a bass headstock with that layout. Alloy-metal construction and a heavy-duty internal gear are practical features for replacement hardware, while the 24:1 ratio supports deliberate tuning adjustments. Black finish keeps the replacement set visually consistent when that color suits the instrument.

Because the set is made specifically for bass tuning and names Precision and Jazz Bass applications, it offers a more direct choice than buying general-purpose guitar tuners. Match the peg-hole size and layout to your instrument, then use the included mounting pieces to fit the replacement hardware.

## Final verdict

For bass players replacing a set of 2R2L tuning keys, harpfeas XX035 brings together four open-gear tuners, alloy-metal construction, a 24:1 gear ratio, and mounting hardware. Its stated 9/16-inch (14 mm) fit and Precision or Jazz Bass-style application make it a focused option for compatible replacement work.
