## Description

Soft, food-grade silicone gives this HAPPYBAG axolotl night light a squishy feel that’s comfortable to hold and squeeze. Its water-resistant body and playful shape bring a gentle bedside glow and a cheerful accent to a child’s room, dorm, or desk.

Tap the light to switch between two warm brightness levels. Choose the softer setting for nighttime feeding or diaper changes, or the brighter glow for reading beside the bed.

A built-in 20-minute timer, rechargeable battery, and cordless design make it easy to fit into a bedtime routine or move from room to room.

## The essentials

The axolotl-shaped lamp combines a soft, BPA-free silicone exterior with touch control and two adjustable levels of warm light. The light is described as flicker-free, and the timer automatically shuts it off after 20 minutes—useful when a child prefers a small light while settling down or when you want a short bedside glow without leaving the lamp on all night.

A built-in 1200mAh battery recharges through Type-C, so the lamp can be used without a cord while it’s lit. Its compact, lightweight design makes it convenient to move between a nightstand, nursery, office desk, or dorm table. The water-resistant construction also suits everyday placement in a bathroom, while keeping the lamp’s use practical and easy to manage.

## How it fits

This lamp brings together two useful bedside needs: a gentle light for nighttime care and a brighter setting for reading. The lower glow is suited to feeding or changing a baby, while the brighter mode helps with a few pages before bed. For children who like a reassuring light at bedtime, the timer can become part of a simple wind-down routine.

Its soft, squeezable axolotl form adds a sensory, playful touch that a standard bedside lamp does not offer. That makes it a natural fit for kids’ rooms, teen bedrooms, college dorms, and desks where decor matters alongside everyday lighting. The cordless design also makes it easier to relocate than a lamp that needs to stay plugged in, whether moving it to another room or packing it for a trip. It can also serve as a small portable light during camping or a power outage.

## Usage tips

Tap the lamp to select the warm brightness that suits the moment: the softer setting for nighttime care or settling in, and the brighter one for bedside reading. Use the 20-minute shutoff as a natural endpoint for a short bedtime routine. Recharge through the Type-C port when needed, and enjoy the cordless light wherever a nearby, portable glow is useful.

The silicone surface is designed to be pinchable and soft to the touch, making the lamp easy to hold as well as use for light. Its water-resistant build is useful in everyday bathroom settings, keep use focused on the lamp’s intended lighting purpose rather than treating it as a waterproof device.

## Is it worth it?

The HAPPYBAG Axolotl Night Light is a practical choice when you want more than a fixed, plug-in bedside lamp: it pairs two warm light levels with touch operation, a 20-minute timer, and rechargeable cordless use. The soft silicone character design adds a playful detail for a nursery, child’s bedroom, teen space, or dorm, while the adjustable glow covers both quiet nighttime care and reading. It also makes a thoughtful gift for axolotl fans and anyone who enjoys cute, useful room decor.
