Haili Silicone Baby Teether

A baby teether can be a simple chew toy, or it can offer a little more to hold a baby's attention between teething moments. This Haili design combines a remote-control shape with a rattle, textured silicone and colorful buttons, so it doubles as a chewable sensory toy. The layout is meant to invite grasping and pretend play, while the raised bumps give babies a textured surface to explore with their mouths and hands. It is a compact concept for home or diaper-bag use, though the product description does not provide dimensions or details about the plastic ring's material beyond saying it should be removed for sterilizing.

What to know

The main appeal is the combination of functions rather than a complicated design: babies can chew the soft silicone body, handle the remote-style buttons and shake the attached rattle to make its beads move and sound. That gives a caregiver a few ways to offer the same toy during a fussy stretch or a quiet play break. Picture a baby holding it in a stroller and turning it over to feel the raised texture, then shaking it to hear the rattle. It may hold interest better than a plain, smooth teether for a baby who likes sound and varied textures, but it is still one small toy—not a substitute for a larger activity toy or a range of sensory play.

The product is described as food-grade silicone, with a plastic ring included. Those material claims come from the listing, there are no independent test details in the provided information. Keep in mind that the rattle ring needs to be removed before boiling or steam sterilization. The listed temperature range is broad on the spec sheet, but that does not remove the need to follow the stated cleaning instructions.

Maintenance

The teether is listed as dishwasher safe and suitable for boiling or steam sterilization, with the plastic ring removed first for the latter methods. For a quick refresh after everyday use, dishwasher cleaning is the straightforward option described. If you plan to sterilize it, separate the ring before treating the silicone piece, the instructions do not say whether the ring itself can be boiled, steamed or placed in the dishwasher. The listing also says chilling the toy can make it more soothing, but it does not give a specific chilling time or storage method.

Practical tips

Offer it when your baby wants something to grip and mouth, or when a change of texture or a gentle rattle may help redirect attention. The compact design is intended to travel easily in a diaper bag, so it can be on hand during an outing rather than only at home. You can also vary how you present it: let your baby explore the bumps and buttons, then shake it so the beads make a sound. A solid pick if you want one toy to combine chewing, handling and simple sound play. It might not be a great match if you are looking for detailed sizing, a stated age-specific fit, or information about how the plastic ring should be cleaned, those details are not supplied here.

Practical doubts

Does it make noise? Yes. The listing says beads in the rattle ring move when the toy is shaken and produce sound.

Can it go in the dishwasher? The product is described as dishwasher safe. The separate instruction to remove the plastic ring applies to boiling or steam sterilization.

Can it be chilled? The listing says refrigeration may enhance its soothing effect, but it does not specify a chilling duration.

When it makes sense

Choose this teether if your priority is a portable silicone chew toy with added texture and a shake-to-rattle feature, rather than a basic single-surface teether. Its remote-control shape may also appeal if you like toys that give babies something to grasp and imitate during play. Look elsewhere if you need precise dimensions, clearer cleaning guidance for every component, or a more involved play setup. The decision comes down to whether the rattle and button-style design are useful extras for your routine, the available details do not establish how well it will suit a particular baby's preferences.
