hahaland CF-TBB09. Princess Felt Busy Book, 20 Activities Across 8 Pages

Made from felt, the hahaland Princess Busy Book gives kids a hands-on way to explore pretend-play activities in a portable book format. It includes 8 interactive pages and 20 princess makeover activities, with themes that move from bath time to a ball and include Glamour Unveiled and Crowning Moment. The manufacturer recommends it for ages 36 months to 6 years.

For a car ride, plane trip, or wait between activities, the book offers a screen-free option that does not require batteries. Its dress-up and makeover theme gives children a reason to revisit the pages, while the hands-on format is intended to encourage creativity, concentration, dexterity, and problem-solving.

Best use cases

This is aimed at preschoolers who enjoy princess pretend play and benefit from having an activity to work through independently. It may suit travel or quiet indoor time better than a single-purpose toy, since the 8 pages offer multiple activities in one book. It’s a great fit if you want a manual, no-battery activity with a clear dress-up theme for a child within the stated age range.

The book is designed for one player, so it is better suited to individual play than to a shared game for siblings or a group. Customer feedback also points to a practical caveat: some buyers say the Velcro pieces do not stay attached reliably, and others report that assembly takes effort. That matters if you expect every piece to remain in place or want an item ready for play without setup.

Pros

The strongest practical benefit is variety in a travel-friendly format: 20 activities are spread over 8 pages rather than relying on one repeated play pattern. The princess makeover theme gives the activities a connected pretend-play context, and the manual operation means there are no batteries to manage. It can also work as a birthday or holiday gift for a child who likes dress-up play.

Buyers often describe the book as engaging for learning and convenient to take on trips, and some like its appearance as a gift. Feedback is not uniformly positive, though. Reports about loose or missing Velcro attachments and assembly concerns are worth weighing alongside the favorable comments, opinions on value are mixed. It might not be a great match if dependable attachment of every piece or a fully assembled activity is essential.

Is it worth it?

Choose this book for a preschooler who likes princess-themed pretend play and would use a compact, hands-on activity during travel or quiet time. Its range of page-based activities and battery-free format make it more varied than a basic single-activity toy. The tradeoff is that buyer feedback raises concerns about Velcro staying attached and setup, so those points may matter more than the activity count for a child who tends to pull pieces off or for a caregiver seeking a ready-to-go gift.
