## Description

Some TV setups call for a full-featured controller, others need a straightforward replacement for the remote used with a Samsung television. The Gvirtue BN59-01259B uses infrared and button control for compatible Samsung TVs, with an ergonomic design and a layout built around everyday commands.

Use it to manage one television from up to 10 meters away. It is intended for Samsung LED, LCD, QLED, HDTV, 3D, and Smart TV models listed as compatible.

## Everyday use

This remote is designed for direct, familiar control of a compatible Samsung TV. Its 39 buttons provide a button-based alternative for common viewing routines, while the ergonomic feature supports comfortable handling during everyday use. Infrared connectivity makes the remote-to-TV connection direct, keep the TV’s exact model in mind when selecting a replacement, since compatibility depends on the television model.

For example, it can serve as the remote at a living-room TV, where a single controller is used to manage the television from the seating area. Would a simple infrared remote suit a setup that does not need voice commands? This model does not use Bluetooth and has no voice functions, so its focus is standard button control.

## What stands out

The BN59-01259B is listed as a replacement for a broad range of Samsung television models and remote references. Examples of compatible TV model families include KU6300, KU7000, MU8000, NU8000, RU8000, and TU8300, the compatibility information also names models such as UN40KU6300FXZA, UN65MU8500FXZA, UN65RU8000FXZA, UN65TU8300FXZA, and UN82NU8000FXZA. Match the television’s model number to the compatibility list to choose the right remote for your setup.

Buyers often describe the remote as easy to use and appreciate it as a replacement, with some mentioning straightforward setup. Feedback is mixed on compatibility and button response, however, and some buyers report buttons becoming difficult to use or the remote stopping after a period of use. These experiences vary, so the listed TV-model compatibility is the practical starting point when choosing.

## When it makes sense

A solid pick if you need a dedicated, button-operated replacement for a compatible Samsung TV and want infrared control from up to 10 meters. It suits a one-TV setup where a familiar handheld remote is more useful than Bluetooth pairing or voice control. With its clearly defined Samsung compatibility and standard AA battery power, the Gvirtue BN59-01259B is intended for everyday television control in the home.
