## Description

The flexible polyethylene pipes extend from 21 to 67 inches, giving rainwater a longer route away from your home’s foundation. Adjust the length to suit the space around each downspout and direct runoff where it is useful.

Need to guide water around a planting bed or other obstacle? The flexible design bends to help shape the route without creasing or cracking, while the white finish keeps the extensions visually simple along the side of your home.

The two-pack includes adapters for several common downspout sizes, plus screws to help secure each extension in place. That combination makes it easier to set up drainage at two downspouts with a route tailored to the surrounding area.

## Why it’s worth it

A fixed-length extension suits a straight, predictable route, but an adjustable pipe offers more flexibility when the outlet needs to reach farther or curve around landscaping. Each Gutterlix extension adjusts across a 21- to 67-inch range, so you can position the discharge point according to the available space rather than relying on one set length. Directing rainwater away from the house can help reduce runoff near the foundation, and the extensions can also be used to guide water toward a garden area.

The polyethylene construction is designed for outdoor use, with flexibility that allows the pipe to bend around bushes and similar obstacles. Buyers often highlight the extensions’ ability to direct water away from the house, along with the useful length and flexible routing. Feedback on durability is mixed: some buyers describe them as sturdy, while others report that an extension came apart over time.

## Highlights

The set contains two white downspout extensions, four adapters, and eight screws. The adapters are intended for downspouts measuring 2" x 3", 3" x 3", and 3" x 4", providing options for those listed sizes. Screws can be used to secure the extensions to the downspouts and help prevent them from shifting.

For a practical setup, choose the adapter that matches the downspout, attach the extension, and adjust its length to place the outlet where runoff can drain away from the house. If the route passes a shrub or garden bed, the flexible pipe can be bent to guide water around it. Buyers also mention a good fit, including setups where they used the extensions without screws, the included screws remain available when you want to fasten the connection.

## Usage tips

Plan the outlet position before setting the extension length. A clear route helps direct water away from the home or toward a garden area, and a gradual bend can help route the pipe around landscaping. Match the supplied adapter to the downspout dimensions, then use the screws to secure the connection if needed. The adjustable range gives you room to adapt the layout to each location, while the two extensions let you address separate downspouts with one set.

## Final verdict

For homeowners looking to manage runoff at two downspouts, this Gutterlix set combines an adjustable 21- to 67-inch reach with flexible routing and adapters for three listed downspout sizes. It suits drainage layouts where a fixed straight extension would be less adaptable, and can also help direct rainwater toward a garden. The practical advantage is control over both the outlet distance and its path.
