Gutedeal Decorative Resin Bowl, 10-Inch

For shoppers who want an entryway catchall that can also sit out as decor, this scalloped resin bowl offers a useful middle ground between a plain storage tray and a purely decorative centerpiece. Its matte beige finish and wavy rim give it a noticeable shape without relying on a bold color.

It is also sized for a kitchen counter or coffee table, though its low profile favors displaying fruit and holding everyday items over storing anything deep or bulky.

Key specifications

The bowl is listed at 10 inches in diameter and 2.75 inches high, with a weight of 2.5 pounds. It is made from resin, with a smooth glazed interior and a matte, sandstone-like exterior. The scalloped, ruffled edge gives the bowl its main visual detail, the neutral beige color is intended to work with farmhouse, bohemian, and minimalist rooms.

The product description estimates room for about 6–8 oranges, using oranges around 3 inches across. Treat that as a rough capacity guide rather than a guarantee, since fruit size and how it is arranged will affect the fit. The details do not give an inner diameter, so judging whether a particular larger item will fit is difficult without that measurement.

Who it’s for

This bowl makes sense for someone who wants a visible place for keys, a wallet, or sunglasses near the door, but would rather not leave a basic tray on the entry table. It can also hold fruit on a kitchen counter or serve as a centerpiece on a coffee table, sideboard, or bookshelf. It suits you if you value a decorative shape and want one bowl to do more than one job around the home.

The 2.75-inch height is worth considering: it is a shallow catchall, not a deep organizer. You May want to skip it if you need covered storage, tall sides, or a dedicated container for larger belongings. A deeper, less decorative bin would be a more practical choice for those needs.

Everyday use

Picture dropping your keys and sunglasses into it as you walk in, then moving it to the kitchen when you want a place for a few pieces of fruit. The broad, low bowl keeps those small items visible and easy to pick up, while the ruffled outline makes the container part of the display. The description also suggests using it for candy or snacks at gatherings and as a floral bowl for parties or weddings.

Care is straightforward but manual: the listed instructions call for hand washing with mild soap. That is a small tradeoff if you want a low-maintenance item you can put in the dishwasher. Although the product description calls the surface scratch resistant, it does not provide details about testing or specific care beyond hand washing, so avoid treating it like a heavy-duty prep bowl.

Before you decide

Can it hold fruit? The listed uses include fruit, and the capacity estimate is about 6–8 oranges around 3 inches across. Actual fit will vary with the fruit.

Is it suitable for an entry table? Yes. Keys, a wallet, and sunglasses are among the suggested uses. Its shallow shape keeps those items accessible, but it will not conceal clutter.

How should it be cleaned? Hand wash with mild soap, according to the product details. No dishwasher instructions are provided.

When it makes sense

Choose this bowl when you want everyday catchall storage with a decorative finish, or a fruit bowl that can stay on display between meals. Its resin construction, matte beige surface, and scalloped profile make it more design-led than a basic utility tray. If your priority is deep storage, concealed organization, or dishwasher care, a different style of container will likely suit your routine better.
