## Description

A desk with scattered papers needs a different setup than one used mainly for a few writing tools. The Gugsey Desk File Organizer brings paper storage and small-item organization together in a tabletop unit.

Its tiered trays, vertical file holder, pen holder, and sliding drawer give documents and everyday supplies separate places. The metal organizer has a powder-coated finish and a purple color.

The layout is aimed at home offices, classrooms, and work desks where you want papers and small supplies close at hand without choosing separate holders for each.

## Spec sheet
- Name: Gugsey Desk File Organizer
- Type: Tabletop desk organizer
- Material: Metal
- Finish: Powder coated
- Color: Purple
- Dimensions: 9"D x 15.5"W x 9.3"H
- Included: Drawer and pen holder
- Model: Desk File Organizer

The design combines tiered paper trays with a vertical file holder, a two-slot hanging pen holder, and a sliding drawer with three compartments. That mix can help separate letters, folders, and magazines from smaller items such as paper clips, sticky notes, or a stapler. The overall dimensions are useful to keep in mind when deciding whether it fits the available desktop space.

Compared with buying individual trays and a separate pen cup, this organizer consolidates several storage functions in one footprint. That suits a desk with mixed paperwork and supplies, a simpler document tray may make more sense if you only need a place for loose papers. The product details don't specify compatibility with particular desk models or file sizes, so treat it as a freestanding tabletop organizer rather than a fitted accessory.

## Who it’s for
This setup is intended for people who regularly handle both documents and small office supplies at home, school, or work. It offers separate areas for papers, upright files, writing tools, and small essentials, which can make a busy desktop easier to sort. Buyers describe it as helpful for keeping papers and folders organized, and some mention that wider folders fit on the shelves. Those comments are impressions, not a stated size specification, so check your own folders against the listed dimensions if fit is important.

Buyers also report that assembly is manageable, while feedback on stability is mixed: some find it steady, and others say the shelves or drawers can slide more than expected. That’s worth bearing in mind if you plan to move the organizer often or handle the trays frequently. A solid pick if you want several kinds of desk storage combined in one metal unit.

## Tips for day-to-day use
Use the tiers for papers you reach for often, the vertical holder for files you want to keep upright, and the drawer for smaller supplies that otherwise spread across the desk. Keeping each category in a consistent place can make it easier to return items after use. Place the organizer on a stable, level surface, and avoid overloading a tray or drawer, the product information does not provide a weight limit.

The purple finish makes this a more visible desk accessory than a neutral-colored organizer. If matching a specific workspace color scheme matters, consider how that shade will look alongside your existing desk items before choosing it.

## Before you decide
What comes with the organizer? The listed included components are a drawer and pen holder, the product description also identifies tiered paper trays and a vertical file holder.

What can it store? It is designed for stationery, papers, letters, magazines, and folders, with a drawer for smaller office supplies.

Does it require assembly? Buyers describe assembly as manageable, with some reporting it takes around 20 minutes. That is buyer feedback rather than a guaranteed setup time.

## Final verdict
The Gugsey Desk File Organizer is worth considering when your workspace needs combined storage for paperwork, upright files, pens, and small supplies. Its metal construction, powder-coated purple finish, and listed dimensions help define the choice. If your priority is only basic paper stacking, a simpler tray may be enough, if you want one tabletop unit for several desk categories, this design is more tailored to that routine.
