## Description

The Queen-size GRUSIGN CL-ZXW mattress pad uses a fabric blend of 60% polyester and 40% viscose derived from bamboo. Its soft, quilted pillow-top design adds a cushioned layer over a mattress, while the fitted-sheet style edges are made to accommodate mattresses from 8" to 20" deep.

It is intended to add softness and breathability, not to replace a mattress or protect it from spills. The pad is not water resistant, so those needs call for a different kind of bedding layer.

## Worth noting

The fill is described as a down alternative, held in place by box quilting. That construction is intended to keep the padding distributed rather than bunching in one area. The cover is marketed as breathable and cooling, but buyer feedback on cooling is mixed: some say it feels cool, while others do not notice much of a cooling effect. Reports about thickness and durability also vary, so treat those as personal impressions rather than guaranteed results.

Compared with a basic, unpadded mattress protector, this pad is designed to add a softer, plusher feel. It does not offer water resistance, however, so a spill-focused protector would be a more suitable choice if liquid protection matters most. Worth considering if you want an added soft layer and your mattress falls within the stated pocket range. Better avoided if reliable spill protection is a priority.

## Fit and sizing

This version is Queen size, with stretchable deep pockets listed for mattresses from 8" to 20". The fitted design is intended to help the pad stay in place without slipping or bunching. Buyer comments generally describe the fit as satisfactory and installation as straightforward, though those experiences cannot guarantee the same result on every mattress. Check your mattress depth against the stated range before choosing this size.

## Tips for day-to-day use

The pad is machine washable, which gives it a practical care option for routine freshening. After unpacking, the product information says to allow 24 hours for it to expand and regain its shape. Following that settling time before making the bed may help it reach its intended form. Since the fabric includes both polyester and bamboo-derived viscose, follow the care instructions supplied with the item rather than assuming it can be treated like a waterproof cover.

For a guest room or everyday bed where a softer surface is the goal, the quilted layer offers a different approach from simply placing a fitted sheet over the mattress. If temperature control is the main reason for buying, keep expectations measured: the fabric is described as breathable, but customer experiences with its cooling feel are not consistent.

## Before you decide

Does it fit a Queen mattress? This listing is for Queen size, and its stretchable pockets are specified for mattress depths from 8" to 20".

Can it be machine washed? Yes. Machine washing is listed in the care details, the product information also recommends allowing 24 hours after unpacking for the pad to expand.

Will it protect the mattress from spills? No water resistance is specified. Choose a water-resistant cover if liquid protection is needed.

## Is it worth it?

This GRUSIGN pad makes sense when the priority is adding a soft, quilted layer to a Queen mattress and the mattress depth fits the stated range. Its bamboo-derived viscose blend, machine-washable care, and deep-pocket design are useful decision points. The main tradeoff is that cooling impressions vary, and this is not a spill barrier. Choose it for added cushioning and a breathable-feeling fabric, not as a substitute for waterproof protection or a guaranteed cooling solution.
